0-169 at lunch. That is some session but the hallmark of this series has been dramatic collapses so more work to be done. Be nice if these boys can push on for centuries post lunch.

What did most think of his innings?? Personally thought he was a bit lucky at times but at least rode his luck and backed himself

Yeah he looked good once he got into stride but he does this all the time - looks great before a break and then gets out soon after resumption. If he wants to play test cricket he can't just play one good session and not go on with it. I

Good to see Hughes get some runs, even if he did ride his luck out there. Watson too, although for an opener he doesn't convert enough of his starts in my opinion, he's made it to 50 18 times in his test career and only gone on to make a century twice, not good enough for a test opener.
@Bazzinator said:steyn is statistically the best bowler in history. they just showed a stat where he has the lowest strike rate for a wicket with a bowler who has taken more than 200\. think of some of the greats and he is well in front. only bowler below 40 with 39.5 next was Waqar/Wasim with 43.5 so clearly shows he is a top class bowler
