If your at work tell your Boss your feeling sick cause this is the Warner show .
The Indians were trying to get the ball up for Warner to knick it to the slips but responded with cover drives forcing India to change there bowling tactics.
Warner on 37 after 5 overs 😱pen_mouth:

As for the series itself, the home team is always heavy favourites when these 2 clash, both sides are clueless in the other countries conditions.

Aussies to win 4-0 pending their mental state.

I reckon 2-0\. Draw at the Gabba and MCG

Fantastic tribute and Richie Benaud's wonderful explanation of what Cricket means to Australians. Proud to be Aussie

Yes , Ritchie's a class act that's for sure ! A great tribute to Phil Hughes !
That footage of kids playing cricket in the street is what summer is all about IMO .
Except we didn't have wheelie bins in our day .. We used the old galvanised garbage can !
And when a car came down the street we'd stop the car and tell the driver to "wait " and tell them there's two balls to go this over " lol .

well said. for us in india, it used to be the wheel of a bike.. so we would have two pitches for two wheels- one for big kids and one for little kids.

nothing better than street cricket.

Warner brings up his ton off 106 balls just 45mins after Lunch….Top Knock...

Yeah fantastic knock from Warner his all class , future Captain for me . Has really come along way since becoming a Father and learning from his past stupidity . Good on him.
Clarke has just come off injured .

We are getting hammered. Aaron and Shami are too inconsistent, and Sharma just has no luck. Hopefully Kohli and co. Can match this massive total the Aussies are putting on. Btw top knocks from Smith, Warner and Clarke.

What a sterling Century from Pup and Smith goes from strength to strength…I see him as the future Captain..

An absolutely outstanding knock from Pup…after all hes been through, the mental toughness some of our elite sportsmen possess is just amazing..phenomenal!!

Their attack is the worst i've ever seen from them. Their batsmen are too good to be bowled out twice in 3 days, but it will happen cos they can't handle the bounce.

With a dodgy hamstring and a shot back as well

Look I haven't watched any cricket yet due to work , but you'd have to think they must declare within the first hour

I reckon we probably should have had an hour at them this afternoon to take advantage of them being weary from almost two days in the field

Until about a year ago I never rated Smith at all, but boy the guy can play. I think when everyone realised his strength was his batting moreso than his bowling he has just gone to another level. Definitely a long term fixture in the team, and potentially a future captain. Overall it's been an impressive effort, I think another hour at the crease tops will be enough, if this Indian team are anything like the one that came here 4 years ago, they'll struggle to make the follow on giving us a real shot at taking it despite the rain delays.

Yeah that was my point…his injury and the emotion of Hughes

He's always had the talent. If you look at his Cricinfo profile you'll see he's spent heaps of time all over the world playing in English County, IPL and here in various formats. He's a student of the game and while not the classiest batsman, he gets the job done with mental application.

He reminds me of Tugger.
