Probably put the KOD on them, but the way these two are batting is what we are desperately lacking. On this sort of deck pick off the sure deliveries, don't go flailing at the wide and short crap.

That quality evaporated rather quickly.

Against our batsmen, India look like the West Indies pace attack of the 70’s & 80’s

Been walking the streets of Melbourne all day with my wife - shopping, shopping and more shopping!!
Finally got back to the hotel at 4-190 and have watched 5-24 including Kholu’s arrogant and smug laugh at Paine.
Should have stayed shopping!!

Looks like Paine is getting the last laugh

Boxing Day will be an absolute ripper

The new head groundsmen is the ex WACA Groundsmen , the average innings in Shield cricket has dropped 10 runs per batmen per innings at the MCG since he has taken over

Great to see the match will live up to the great crowd they will get ….hopefully 80 k Day 1

That's good to hear.
I like this wicket, has heaps in it a times. Good test match.

Until today I thought Steve Smith should walk back in and take the captaincy. I was wrong. Take a bow Tim Paine - great aggressive but contained leadership!

Great to see a pitch where the bowlers for once hold the aces. Okay you would not like every test wicket like it, but sure beats the roads we have produced in recent time.

Like the previous poster, Paine is a natural leader, pity he career was stuffed by a finger injury. He would have taken over from Gilly and been captain before Smith, and who knows, but I say the ball tampering thing would never happened. Iam not blaming Smith, but I just doubt it would have happened under Paine’s watch

I thought Paine dropped the ball in the first Indian innings in Adelaide after having them on the ropes at 6-120 odd. That's been the only real issue with his captaincy during this series so far.

The person who has benefited most from having him in the side is Nathan Lyon. He must be stoked to have a keeper who can actually hang on to a ball. Just shows how garbage Matt Scissorhands was. People argue that he could bat, well he'd want to if he's spilling two or three catches a game.

Garry's a Legend..

happy reckons he's the worst spin bowler ever to play test cricket..bwhahahahaha..

By that logic, he's on track to overtake D.K. Lillee, arguably one of our worst ever pacemen.
