Any win over the Poms is a great win, but I thought last night All the bowlers did a great job against a very strong batting line up and we probably have sorted out our bowling line up for the rest of the cup.
Our batting line up is another thing, I think we are one batter short, playing Maxwell and Stonis is risky. We can’t keep hoping the openers will get the runs. Smith has to bat at three and Usman at four.

285 was always going to be enough on that deck, the English batting line up is more brittle than ours.
Soon as the Poms started pitching the ball up it started to sing, they absolutely squandered the new ball and their opportunity to win with it. The Aussies weren't going to make the same mistake. Doesn't take away from the fact that Australia threw away their wickets and should have put on at least another 50. Also agree that Smith must be first drop and we need to get rid of one of the all-rounders in favour of another bat. My pick would be the Moai as Maxwell can turn a game when he shows up.
I'm not the biggest fan of pyjama cricket, largely because of the garbage decks we've tossed up in Australia which take the bowlers out of the game, but these English decks have gremlins in them and are restricting scores by bringing bowlers back into the contest. It has somewhat reinvigorated my interest in ODI cricket. Hats off to the ECB curators.

India and NZ are the only teams that will trouble us. I think Aus v NZ will show where both teams stand overall as we lost to India, NZ didn't get to play them and both sides have knocked off everyone else that have shown up.
