It does and it doesn’t. England aren’t the team they were in 05, and they aren’t in home conditions. Still, it’s the best chance they’ll have all summer. Might as well fly home before Xmas if they can’t get a result here.

This England squad isn’t great but our batters are unstable and now the bowlers are going now really brings them back into it. I also think if they get some confidence they could go on a bit of a run. If England get up in this match it makes it a very intriguing series.

Richardson and Neser are great bowlers in form. Yes they are inexperienced but they are quality.

I’m backing Neser to get a bag full in the first innings

Yeah seems really dumb to go with 5 quicks. Root is very much a part timer as well

They bowled 25 overs in a session. No issues with going for 5 Quicks but need a spin option too. Lucky, they're not bowling last. Also, if there is anywhere in Australia you want a spinner, it's SCG and Adelaide.
