Cricket Season Thread

Been watching highlights on fox of India's last two visits where they won the series 2-1 both times .The glaring weakness we had imo was our batting line up in 2018/19 featuring Harris ,Sean Marsh ,Handsomb ,Paine and even our white ball opener Finch opening in tests .Needless to say very fragile
Next tour we should have won but Lyon was ineffective in Sydney and Pant was like a superman in Brisbane
Really important this time that our batting line up handle Bumrah ,Ashwin and Jedaja .
Mitch Marsh and Travis Head better not be rusty !!!

Right across all test playing nations batting has become fragile and Australia is not an exception. Unless it’s a flat track they serve up in circus cricket they struggle. Australia in the past were usually saved by one partnership when they got the wobbles.

Anyway would imagine this series will be dominated by the ball with the Aussies having a slight advantage

My personal observation of this is because of the rise in meaningless T20 franchise cricket.I know it is popular in some circles but i honestly believe it is systematicaly destroying the game.T20 has a small part to play in the future of the game but nowhere near what it is doing at the memoent.

Yep its garbage. If we lose ODI's because of this shit Itll be a real shame.

Starc and Hazo bowled a little bit lately ODI and Sheild and both bowling fantastic .Cummings hasn't played in months and looks a bit rusty
First 80 mins India 3-32

This indian team seems so different to the ones on the last few tours. So timid. Their success in Australia has been about playing confident cricket and taking the game on. They need to rediscover that if they want to be competitive. Will be interesting to see how Pant goes about it

Surprised Capt Pat bowled himself after lunch given Starc and Hazelwood have just had 40 mins resting .Pat in 10 overs has conceded 60 % of the runs
However the bison gets a double a real bonus

I see Travis Head is doing his best impersonation of the great AB.
When he runs in to congratulate Mcsweeney, I thought AB’s looking good for his age.

Pat drops a skier off Starc .We are doing ok but the Capt is not which is unusual
Lyon getting belted
Where is Hazo ? Pressure coming off
Starc one end Hazelwood the other. Stop giving them respite

What's wrong with AB? He sounds like he's had a stroke. I know he's got Parkinson's but he sounds like he's on valium forte.
