Seems Windies will have a lowish chase tomorrow in DAYLIGHT
Pats tactics batting first backfiring as we bat twice pink ball under lights and Windies get to bat twice in daylight
Of course if we had batted beyond 225 in first innings and say another 3 hours it would have been different

Konstas isn’t a Warner or Sehwag. His aggression is not controlled. He bats like a number 8 or 9 who just swings and you know he could get out any ball. That might cut in 20/20, but this is Test cricket. You won’t have a long career if that’s your style. Boxing Day was a sugar hit. Nothing else.

It all depends on first session tomorrow if pat / cam / mitch / Scott/ Josh could put on another 50 in daylight with a 29 over ball im confident we can win

Point is on this tour he's not batting like that at all he's hardly ever playing an aggressive shot ! Seems lost between ?

Australia A playing a 4-day match vs Sri Lanka A. Jake Weatherald scores 54 opening in addition to (I think) topping the shield run count last year so could be an option in the Ashes after Konstas’ very poor showing.
McSweeney currently on 94* and could definitely squeeze himself back into the test side if Australia continues to bat poorly but please not at opener. Also took 2 wickets.
Liam Scott on 52* and took 2 wickets as well.
In terms of the actual test match, it’s good to see Scott Boland back and unsurprisingly take the most wickets but come the Ashes they will just relegate him back to being their back-up bowler despite having an average of 17.33 which is the lowest of any bowler to have bowled 2000 balls since the beginning of WW1…
Start of Sheffield is only 2 months away with another 2 months until the first ashes test. Will be an interesting period for a lot of batsman as there are a few underperforming players in the batting line up currently.
