1.Tedesco - Probably our best tonight, which is a sad indictment on the rest
2.Naquaima - Season going backwards in a hurry
3.Hoeter - not yet thanks
4.Lawrence - boy he tries hard - but its over
5.Richards - makes more yards going backwards than forward nowadays
6.Moses - Run son, run
7.Brookes - he may be the next big thing as a 1/2, but a dummy half he aint
13.Tapau - runs out of gas quicker than my V8
12.Sironen - Words dessert me
11.Lovett - please refer to no 3
10\. Sue / Ava - Plodders
9\. Halatau - Picked as captain and no 9, ended up playing about 4 1/2
8\. Lodge - these arent boys son, they are men
Galloway - said it was time to stand up, but decided to stand down
Simona - can rotate with Nofa, 1 week in , 1 week out

Ava was great. Simona is a weapon but I think he was brought back to early. Tedesco was poor but I can't really blame him as he had next to no support.

Moses was relatively great but I expect a lot more out of him.

That is all I have. We really need some changes.

How did Naiqama not score that try!! He is really going backwards, I agree.

Hoeter wasn't the problem nor were our halves, no idiot shifts their halfback to hooker when he already has all the pressure in the world on his shoulders.

Moses ia a beast, that chip chase was great to see, alao his pass to Sironen, he needs freedom.

I think what we got out of that game is that Moses should be controlling our attack and Brooks should chime in whenever, thats how it was when they were juniors and I think that would work better.

It was just one of those things Milky , the guys chased for 40 metres hoping to get the right bounce when he arrives and he didn't , he basically yorked himself , it really didn't have to do with diving

Kev has about .5 a second to make a call , with hindsight he might of been better trying to block the ball off until it crossed the line and if the defender behind you hits you , you might get the penalty try call , but that's a big risk to take , especially with how getting the 50-50 calls has been with refs lately

Also you can't tell exactly how far in front of the other guy you are. Naiqama does not have the sweetest hands, though he is a good athlete, the bounce just wasn't where he predicted.

Well, what a symphony of negativity you are.

Not one word of praise, support or constructive criticism for anyone in the whole team except for Teddy.

We have a big job indeed - finding another 16 players for the next game and I would presume a new coach.

The two fullbacks were the best on ground. Tedesco was easily our best as usual and the only one who looked likely to score.

I thought Ava was our best.

Too many fumbles from Teddy.

And i have to agree re letting Moses control the game…...we looked way better with him providing the plays and Moses chiming in.

I completely agree with this. I think Moses is starting to look really good. He is a fighter as well.

Brooks is good as well but I would swap their roles. Play Moses at 7 and Brooks at 6.

Didn't Ava drop the ball close to the line ? If he was our best we are in big trouble.

You couldnt have watched the game if u didnt see the go foward we got from Ava.

Huge metres and our only LB all day right up the guts.

Very unlucky not to get a pie.

IMO he is another to have suffered from the JT plan of playing him for 15 mins a game.

Love the post.

Still disappointed with the loss.

In 2005 we were in a similar position.

180-1 outsiders to win according to the bookies which was repeated ad-nauseum by Gould.

Im hoping history repeats.

If you dont have hope, what do you have….

.

Absolutely, was a stand out and really stood with no Woods and Galloway.

Anyone who doesnt see that wasnt watching the game.

I saw 2 positives out of that game.

One was that Moses can play footy, and secondly Ava is a first grade footy player. If i have had any criticism of him its that he isnt aggressive enough but man he was charging onto it and had a huge game.

hopefully he gets some more game time now!

Ava seems to me like the kind of player who would benefit from having more responsibility, not less. He was good and has to play more minutes.

On another note, things change very quickly in the NRL. A month of good football and everyone is optimistic again. The problem is that the team has been in similar situations so many times and rarely been able to stand up so we don't have much faith, especially the way they're playing at the moment.

There are definite and yawning gaps in the roster and depth and everyone can see them. Coach Taylor has a very important role in getting the signings right or we are stuck in the mud for a while yet.
