Anybody have the crowd number from today? Looked huge! Great effort by everyone who got there, I wish I could have been one of them :frowning: .

Surely today was a record?

50.8K

Just short of a regular season eels home game.

Parra were louder but we were loud as well- tbh we didn't get much to cheer about till the very end and obviously the tries. Dropped the ball so much in the 20

50,688\. Largest crowd between the two teams now by some margin. You could constantly hear the noise coming through the TV so I assume the atmosphere would have been good today.

Atmosphere was awesome. Probably 30k parra fans and 20k tigers fans but given it was thier home game that's to be expected. Even my 65 yr old mum at her first ever NRL game was yelling and clapping

The NRL strategy is working playing at the big stadiums with the free travel and the reciprocal membership deal and the right teams, obviously the show helped but they are on the right track.

It was a great atmosphere and really good natured. It's not my favourite place to see a game but with a big crowd, a great comeback (and all for 20 bucks) it was hard to go wrong. Wests looked very dull before Austin came on.

10 bucks last week and a no show.

Tigers would be spewing it wasn't their home game.

Atmosphere was awesome. What made it better was the fact i was stuck in the middle of an ocean of Blue and Gold.

Bloody great Atmosphere my throat was is killing me atm I started a few ''Tigers'' Chants myself and it was some hard work lol. In my top 3 games I have ever been to. I reckon the crowd was 20k Wests Tigers Supporters 30k Parra Eels Supporters Which is not to shabby for an away game.

Yeh it was a good atmosphere. We were in the Tigers supporters area so a bit hard to judge what the whole stadium 'feel' was like but that sort of crowd makes ANZ a very acceptable venue.

When you have 80,000 seats to sell, you can afford to sell family passes for $20 (which included 6 tickets, not 4). Suburban grounds could never offer that.

Thought it was great out there today. Sounds like I was in the same area as Pymblepete so a little hard to judge the whole atmosphere but yeah, it was great in the Tigers area anyway. Thought it was great at the end as well when the team did a lap of the field and really got engaged with what was left of the crowd, particularly in our area seeing as that's where a fair amount of their supporters were.

Yeah great atmosphere, the lead swinging 5 or 6 times helped, good natured for the main as someone else mentioned though it looked like a real mess at the station after with 1000s waiting in the street to get in, saw a bit of a blue between some drunk parra woman and another female

Im guessing all 'tenants' there get a set figure so WTs wouldnt be too unhappy with the crowd at all, just strengthens their case to take games there.
If Parra and WTs can get that many it puts our other crowds this year to shame
