Can't wait to hear them explain this one away!!

I wonder which local junior the Russell Crowe Rabbitohs will be willing to release this time?

The man talks of passion and tradition and yet he's willing to release a talented local junior, who's made it in first grade in order to sign a bloke who obviously has zero morals. (that goes for both Inglis and Williams.) 😕

its a professional sport, if the club doesnt have quality juniors youve gotta expect them to look elsewhere and use all the resources they have to field the best possible team. But once again rusty has shown that securing the big names is more important than actually fielding a good team. he may have a great highlights reel, but i dont really think sbw would deliver the sort of consistent performance youd want after that sort of investment… much like many of the bunnies big names.

I can't blame Crowe for doing everything possible to win his team a premiership but he would have to let other good players go which could be bad for the balance of his side.

Fair enough Alien, but I think that every team should have a Russell Crowe backing them then. These are all million dollar players he's trying to sign, and he's up to number four or five now. Based on that Souths should really be getting rid of three or four players to pay for one of these headline makers. He's also undermining the strong Souths junior base by doing it.

I know this Sonny Bill thing is only a newspaper seller at the moment, but fair dinkum, Crowe wouldn't be talking to Williams about the inclement New Zealand weather!

There's something about these third party payments I just don't understand people.

Isn't Asotasi's contract up soon? He is on good coin right now, but Crowe wouldn't throw buckets of cash at him based on his performances.

Just errant nonsense. He'd leave the All Blacks/Crusaders programme to join Souffs? Not only a monumental step down in brand, but a significant decrease in remuneration

SBW would return to Sydney, a place where his character was assasinated by just about every commentator and journalist, including those with a minimal interest in sport? You are kidding. Crowe operates on the basis that any publicity is good publicity, as does Mr Nasser

Good Footballer Sonny Bill… If we could find ways to rort the Salary Cap, we should buy him...

I'd be furious if we signed him.

He dumped on the code, his mates, his supporters and all the young up and coming poly boys who idolised him.
He's also in the Mundine camp.

He aint no tiger….

if someone from the Tigers were doing what Rusty is doing you all would be cheering….

Good on him,

I was being serious for once,,,We need more like Rusty in Rugny League..

Now what's the Blue Wiggle up to these days…

Russ is desperate for premiership after all these years - I love his commitment and passion.

I don't see SBW in NRL ever again - What for???? more money, more travel, less games, potentially less Injury and no booing

SBW (Nice Guy I hear) has fleas as he lays with dogs. His councilers are well known for for being selfish.

Does Injury Bill Williams have another fight coming up?

I don't mind Rusty. Even though he owns Souths, he has a pretty good overall effect on the game and has a very good knowledge of the game.

He is fighting Scott Lewis (the lump who beat Carl Webb) on January 29!

Personally I cannot stand Crowe - and in my "Book Of Feuds" the 1909 disgrace looms as the biggest one - so I will never give Souths any good-will!!!
