I have been watching this game for a long time and as I said in the live game thread last night I won't watch anymore. The referee, and that one in particular, ruin the game each week. I don't understand even still today how Josh Reynolds is being suspended at all for trying to kick the ball through at the same moment as a offside player decides to give away a penalty, snatch the ball up to ensure the Tigers can't kick the ball through. I am still puzzled as to how Mitchell does what he did and not a single word was said by anybody. It is farcical. I saw the highlights and I am happy to say the better team won on the night but as usual both teams are not given an equal chance to do their best. I would be extremely puzzled if the tiger's don't fight Josh Reynolds on this.

They need to consider their options in fighting. They know they won't be given a fair go, so they have to consider what they could realistically achieve in fighting it. Is their a downgraded charge that carries a lower penalty that might be within range?

Don’t forget our consistent unforced error count. Every week we shoot ourselves in the foot with stupid errors. Every week!

I think the standard of refereeing in NRL is woeful consistently but I’m not going to use it as an excuse. Successful people often say, “the harder I worked, the luckier I got.” Yeah we get bad calls and I agree that subconsciously it’s easier for a bad ref to favour the favourite but our unforced errors, at critical times, is what kills us week after week after week.
I respect what you are saying but I can’t accept it as the reason we lose consistently - occasionally yes (Klein vs broncos for example) but consistently, no.

Tigers don't usually use refereeing as an excuse, because it happens week after week.

It was a legitimate excuse for losing last night.

The referee decisions (and the box) were shameful.

I believe we were game managed out of that by Cummins in the first half. The weight of adversity he and his video buddy dumped on us, while Souffs were apparently perfect, ensured we could not remain competitive. At 2-0 after 30 minutes the game was over.

Always seems to happen. When the game is still up for grabs we get mauled by the refs. Once the result is decided, we get a handful of token penalties to even it up. Happens all the time.
