Cummins and the Nrl are a joke.

Rugby League is in the entertainment business it will protect its stars and biggest brand names. Madge knows the deal that’s why we have to take the refs out of it and become a powerful team.

Weaker teams cop it in all world sports it’s not a particular referee or league it’s every league. We will be badly officiated against all the big sides and those key to the strategic game plan of the league. Watch out against Brisbane it’s happened for years.

Cummins just gave us a few at the end, can’t look to obvious.

Always seems to happen. When the game is still up for grabs we get mauled by the refs. Once the result is decided, we get a handful of token penalties to even it up. Happens all the time.

Be interesting to know the six again comparisons also, just as beneficial as a penalty, moreso really. Looking at the above though it seems that we were better off with the two ref system.

souths were the better team for majority of the game but any chance a team like us had was taken away with one-sided calls.

I found it hard to believe when someone posted on here earlier that Souths and Brisbane were the most penalised teams in the comp so far this year! Have to be making up for it with six again sets though surely.

I hate blaming refs. I think it’s an easy way out, but last night was a joke. AD cops a shoulder charge, bleeds from the chin. If that isn’t bad enough, Souths still win a challenge after its replayed over and over. It was clear that he didn’t wrap the arms.

That's right, and I think this was the turning point of the whole match. It was fairly even up to then, and the Rabbits scored after this. When we should of been deep in their half attacking.

Anyone interested please watch the offside we gave away on the kick chase if you can, no one was even close to offside.

I remember thinking at the time it seemed a random penalty, so I rewound it and you are correct, no one was offside.

A penalty for the sake of it. It’s the new norm for our matches.

Did anyone see the look on the face of Nofoaluma when the penalty was awarded? He looked at another player knowing there was no one offside.

Come off it.
If you mean after the Josh Reynolds kick and the next tackle after the kick chase tackle.
Josh, Garner, Lawrence were offside. Seems we would of go away with it as it was only minor however Garner left before the ball made it through to Cook.
Offside, clear as day.

Was that the play when the Souffs player pushed down on MCK's back in what is usually a blatant ruck infringement?

The thing is, that we were competitive against against 'the (corrupted) cream' of the NRL, and we had our chances to win, refs had certainly helped the opposition! Go Tigers!

No - we were the better side when the refs allowed us to play fair dinkum footy. At all other times the corrupt NRL Ref & his Video mate allowed Souffs to get away with Rubbish.

Our 6 agains early in the match are often early tackle counts in our own qtr .or relatively little value...but oppostion 6 agains often in our half on a late tackle count, and have high propensity to result in a try,and f not truly exhauts the defence. That can and does change towards the end, just like penalties, when the match has been won and lost.
Think Madge needs to initiate there "aughta be an investigation"...!!
Thought Joey Ls penalty of 4 weeks was overly harsh(altho he did deserve 4 weeks for stupidity if it was within the rule book),but Mitchells 2 discretions one of which was a cheap dogshot from behind...2 wks total..a joke
I quit watching rugby a few yrs ago becuase of refs over officiating and having covet agendas...were catching up

That is laughable. They are beyond incompetent yet get paid a motza. Sign me up please. The way they manipulate results is shameful.

This is just the powers that be telling the referees that they have been happy with their performance. The refs have done precisely what they were paid to do, manage the football game a certain way. Gotta keep them happy so they keep up the pretense.

So JR is looking at the same suspension for trying to kick the ball and accidentally making contact as Latrell is for deliberately swinging his arm at the neck/head of an opponent without the ball???

And to think people believe the NRL is biased towards certain clubs...

Yep it’s a dud call anyway you look at. Either BJ’s punishment is to heavy or LM is to light.

JR is an idiot and is making a meteoric rise up the list of the worst player purchases in our clubs history however the player he hit was offside and should have been near the ball in the first place.

I also think our club needs to risk a fine and go all out on the bad ref calls. It needs to be done publicly not in privately.
