Thought something bad had actually happened lol...it’s his first year out of his junior club. You think Robbie or benjis heart didnt lie worth the tigers? Didn’t stop them from giving it there all At other clubs. Get a grip

Were they getting out with Tigers fans celebrating our win, wearing our jersey while playing for another club?

We never won the gf or even made finals since they’ve both been out of our club...I’m sorry but some people here are out of touch with reality

Seems Daine is. Reality is when you are paid hundreds of thousands to represent your employer.

That is such a bad look. Dane seems a good kid but what the hell is he thinking?

I'd say he wasn't thinking at all. Poor form by him.

He has a few insta stories from that night driving around in that car with his mates (including the alleged woman beater). He isnt wearing that jersey which means he took it with him to put on specifically. At some stage of the night he made the decision to grab that jersey, take it with him to put it on at the right time.

1 to many beers ?

Probably woke up at penrith aqua golf with vomit on his jersey with zero clue what happened ??

I was waiting for this argument.

Nothing wrong with Ed sheeran wearing our jersey

Well, there is 'our' captain...

Find me another club where the 'captain' so proudly celebrates the team who did not want him / coach who let him go winning.

It just kind of shows that a few of these blokes came to us solely, 100%, for money and extra years on contracts / their paths were blocked elsewhere.

Nothing wrong with that, but it also means you often sign players whose hearts are not in it at all with the new team (Tamou, Mybe, Packer).

In fairness aussie Jim was born and breed 100km up the road from where I am sitting. Yet he played for nsw and aussie. Don't think loyalty is much more than a word in the dictionary...

The kid gives his all on the field, for goodness sake he ended his season taking a hit up! Imagine if any of us tigers supporters played in the nrl for another team and west’s made it to the gf and won...you bet your bottom doller I’d be doing exactly what Laurie is doing, in all honestly I’d be doing a heck of lot more...wake up people

That in a nutshell is the major problem with Wests Tigers. no pride in the club that they play, denigrating the team and club to players from other clubs. and many supporters wonder why no players from other teams want to transfer to Wests Tigers?

This is the thing about buying people from other teams that cant be fit into their current salary cap.

When we first landed him, I already knew that it was short term.

Start teaching and throwing the sink at Logen Dillon while we can..

This is not OK. I really like Laurie but he should be sacked for this.

How can we ever be taken seriously as a club if we cop the likes of this.

Imagine how it will be taken as a club if we sack a player for wearing a rival jersey that he played in 12 months ago.

We would be crucified

what's new? and so what?

This really shows the dna of the club being full of people that don't give a shit and treat it as such.

What if Pascoe was still a Panthers fan? would it be ok for him to dress in brown and go hang out with the players?

He was amongst those boys not even a year ago so shoot for him supporting. The jersey is a bit OTT but it’s not worth this amount of carry on.

Yeah and you can blame that on this team having zero culture and identity for over a decade. Like I said earlier, ***we are in no position to scrutinise players for this because we haven’t earned anyone’s respect*** and rightfully so

NO worries, so I wont be expecting any more Brooks posts from you, or criticism of Tamou?

Haven’t criticised Tamou once mate so good luck finding that, you’ll have a better chance of winning an argument.

As for Brooks, read what you highlighted properly. I can criticise him all I bloody want for his dire performances and achieving nothing with the club in his long stint. He has absolutely nothing to do with what Laurie has done

Yeah doesn't seem the brightest bloke post some stories of some areas where I don't think they have beaches in Penrith

Unless they were old but doubt it.

Seems Daine is. Reality is when you are paid hundreds of thousands to represent your employer.

The reality is Panthers could have him back in a heart beat if they really wanted to.

Maybe in a swap deal with Momirovski?

Pride in our jersey is utmost

Not that most of the team displayed it thus year, but yes, pride in our jersey and WT management can't sit in our hands. A fine is appropriate along with an apology to WT fans. Pascoe, Maguire and Sheens should issue a joint statement about club culture and not liking the look.

I think those of you who are upset at this need to put yourself in Daine's shoes. He grew up out there, and is good mates with many of the team. Of course he's going to be celebrating that they won. Putting the jersey on is not the smartest thing to do - but it doesn't deserve the vehement foaming at the mouth some of you are doing. Grow up.

No he didn't.

He grew up at Yamba and Iluka.
He spent around 3 years in the Panthers system.

Inexcusable by both Laurie and Tamou.
Cannot justify such disrespect to the club and us as fans.

Any support shown to these actions and behaviour is mind boggling.

He isn't Penrith through and through, born and bread... isn't Yamba closer to GC than Mt Druitt.
