Nofa and work hard should never go together in the same sentenceI'm so sick of this guy.
He plays with no heart at all. No zip, no toughness, no work rate. Shows no skill with the ball in hand.
He is so overrated it isn't funny.
We are better off putting Nofo at fullback. At least he will work hard and support through the middle. If your fullback offers no ball playing ability, then you might as well put a physical high work rate player there.
Nofo fullback with Toa wing.
Laurie can play reserve grade for Penrith.
I think some on here are getting into the sack everybody mode before rnd 6/7 ...it takes that long for a young team with some new experience such as Gildart and Hastings to finally gel and get into the groove,I can forgive Laurie tonight, only because he has been the same for 3 weeks,BUT we all forget he could still be sheepish after his broken leg toward the end of last year..he has to really look at what he wants out of the game, injuries can be horrific mentally for some players, yet others get over them quickly...its up to Daine to prove his worth, and he better make up his mind soon...Like chalk and cheese comparing him to last year. Don’t know what has happened to him.
Doesn’t seem to have the drive or the intelligence to make an NRL player.
no ticker and not real bright eitherHe’s always been lazy…
Lazy in attack - lazy in defence
Was too lazy to support madden hard…
Could have ran infield for a kick - anything.
He’s a biggin for a backy on the scooter… I’ve seen tadpoles with more ticker
The outside backs in that game were phenomenal. Then look at ours. Then cry.Laurie could learn a lot from just watching lattrell Mitchell support play. He just scored a cracker out of noting just by following the play.
He’s not cracking the Panthers first grade side.no ticker and not real bright either
go back to the Riff
Bloody hell, thanks for reminding me that we traded Momo for him. We thought we had pulled off the coup of coups at the time, thinking he was a diamond the same way Stefano is. How wrong were we. Momo was solid for us.No doubt Momo would have made a better full back. He plays with zero heart.
That would be far too blatant. Is it only me or did anyone think he may have been doing a Simona? I found his mistakes very suspicious and the way he would try to look frustrated after them really looked like someone pretending to be upset. I know it's far fetched but it was just very suspicious.
What about Buttges? Missed itSomewhat agree with this, perhaps the pressure is getting to him?
I find it absolutely ridiculous how much he's been spoken about in the media this last week (considering what the Burgess twin did) and think it's maybe contributing to his poor form.
he got done for sexual touchingWhat about Buttges? Missed it
They said that about Papenhuyzen 2 years ago , to the point the storm shopped him , because they’re incumbents Drinkwater and Hughes were injured …. Then the rest is history .Dillon is 2 years away at least,Toa is probably worth a shot but i am not confident
I'll defend Laurie by writing that coming back from the horrific injury he suffered is difficult. I believe him to be one of our best when fit. He is clearly not that at present. Give him time to get back to his best.
