Daine Laurie #237

Cleary knew our club was full of stooges and was quite happy to offload his stooges to Wests Tigers. Even Blore is an example - hasn't hardly played for Wests tigers.

Sorry mate but I don't really see the attack or anything else wonderful about him either on or off the field that some on this forum see.

When you see young players like Jayden Campbell and Tyrell Sloan who have only just hit the scene and have really hit the ground running you really wonder why the the raps on young Daine.

You could even go further and include the likes of Reece Walsh and Will Kennedy who have been around a bit longer but my main point is would Daine Laurie even rate in the top 16 full backs in the comp.

I'm not trying to be a smart arse or totally demeaning in saying that because quite a few, if not many teams would have back ups for full back better than the kid is at the moment.

Sure the kid has shown plenty of courage at times on the field, but just as many times has shown a lack of common sense off it.

Sorry if I upset anyone but just telling it the way that I see it.

Begs the question - how can you lose a dressing room after two rounds? What are these blokes doing all offseason?
 
I wouldn't sack him but I wouldn't renew his contract and I'd be working through who will be the next coach.

I think Madge is a little constrained with what he can do to improve the club at this point due to the injuries that we have but it's not working.

His positional play in defence has always been horrible...
Abysmal even.

Watch the highlights of teams scoring on us... He's barely ever in shot.
Mbye was the same....
To the point even Madge was urging him to get across, get across there in the documentary.

I don't think he has done anything wrong off the field. He hasn't beaten anyone up or gotten drunk and abusive. I think he is a good guy.

I just don't see him as a quality fullback in this comp.
 
All the gangsta shit and getting around in Penrith gear is totally unprofessional while he is contracted to this club.

Piss off now if you don't want to be part of this shit show.
