Another Cleary cast off but no where near as expensive as Packer.I think he presents himself as a goose and I’m not a fan of him as a player. But this is a nothing story.

Madge has been working his guts out to get our blokes to show that resolve and self discipline @twentyforty.Train hard now and be a champion for the rest of your life- Ali
Do our players show enough respect for habits that strengthen their resolve and self discipline?
We need someone who comes from a winning culture but still wants to prove something.Yes, I noticed that too. But that's not attitude, that's media training.
To me, the same old problem is what I've posted many times before. No real leader that others respect and are scared of. I think that's why Tamou was signed, but he has failed.
Someone like a Finucane, who others are forced to follow through respect. Not too many available and the good ones are rare anyway. The real leader wouldn't chew gum at interview and so others wouldn't either, they copy from respect, not because they are told to.
I'd also go big and pay $$$ for a package deal. Rather than a lonely leader, maybe a Yeo and Fisher-Harris. Sure, it won't happen but that's the example. They become the culture and direction and there is more than one. We could help with the bulldogs cap and take Josh Jackson and Luke Thompson.
It's not always the skill left in their tank. It's what they bring mentally and experience wise.
Yep agree @Tiger_Fanatic3 ...very unprofessional and just plain bad manners from a highly paid professional. It's the little things..
He was chewing gum while he was being interviewed by a reporter via WT website
You can clearly see the gum.
Lol ..If Coops wanted to prove something he would have signed with a battling team and lead them to glory.. not one Premiership Ready brimming with superstars already..We need someone who comes from a winning culture but still wants to prove something.
No better example than Cronk at Roosters.
Cronk fell into a dream gig at the Roosters though. International after International as his teammates, no salary-cap constraints apply, refs in your pocket most weeks. Would be very interested to see how many things he could've changed at a club like ours or another club of no-hopers.We need someone who comes from a winning culture but still wants to prove something.
No better example than Cronk at Roosters.
Beat me to itLol ..If Coops wanted to prove something he would have signed with a battling team and lead them to glory.. not one Premiership Ready brimming with superstars already..
Doesn't MG remember Tyrone May?The NRL media machine
Stuff the football.... Give us drama, sex drugs
MG reckons you Dont see.penrith doing this.
Yiu only see Penrith racking lines before GFs
Interesting point MAGPIES1963. Madge did begin his Tigers coaching career as a hard taskmaster, and his first year was his best so far.Madge has been working his guts out to get our blokes to show that resolve and self discipline @twentyforty.
Remember when he decided our blokes should train on after they had played their last game the 1st year he was with us.
I remember quite a few on here saying 'who does this bloke think he is', and I probably thought that as well.
We've managed to put together a bunch of blokes that have no respect for the apparently old fashioned attitude that blokes like Rowdy [I've forgotten his name] displayed.
He was a passenger in the 2nd GF, did nothing! 🤣They don't go back to back without Cronk.. simple.
I wasn't comparing Roosters to us, I was comparing the signing.
Roosters signed someone who was motivated to win, wanted to prove that he can win without Smith/Slater/Bellamy.
Cronk's signing with Roosters is probably the signing of the decade.
His presence alone would have lifted his team.He was a passenger in the 2nd GF, did nothing! 🤣
He was the puppet master. He was a passenger in the 2nd GF, did nothing! 🤣
They should release a highlights package of Cronk's game that night to this song:He was the puppet master.
Yep he can listen to it whilst polishing his 6th premiership ring. They should release a highlights package of Cronk's game that night to this song:
Roberts has been sacked or left 4 clubs in disgrace you pineapple 🍍
Yep, it was his 6th. The Storm didn't do anything wrong they reckon, they are adamant they won fair and square😂. The old Lance Armstrong logic👍Yep he can listen to it whilst polishing his 6th premiership ring.
Yes, yes, I know you’ll scream it was only his 4th. ONLY 🤣
Old FIFO is never out of the headlinesMan... That is just Horseshit.
The Broncos pinched him from the Gold Coast - Could also be argued he didn't leave the Broncos in disgrace.
