Agree with the sentiment. I’m sure a quick clip across the ears will wake him up. Unfortunately it’s a big deal commercially and if he was on the nose already he could have been finding other employment.

I sure tigers will give a balanced response.

This club has a weak reputation and no one really wants to play for the club like the Chooks, Bunnies, Storm, Broncs, Dogs etc. That comes with historical success. We have played 3 finals series in 21 years. The Titans have even played more.

I don't blame him and publically condemning this will not help the situation. Quiet talk is reasonable.

Tamou should be stripped of captaincy for what he did. He should know much better considering he's a senior player and captain.

Daine can be let off as long as the club gets in his ear privately about it.

What he needs to understand is Wests Tigers pay his bills to wear Wests Tigers colours, not those of another club, regardless of how many mates he may have there. If he's off our books, no worries. On our books, he represents us, drunk or sober, full stop.
How the club responds to this is a bit of a litmus test for our management.
