The NSW Blues look like they are run by HBG. There is a whiff off blazer with all the weird selections going on and even Gould hinted at it. Too many people, too many ideas.

Daley's been the company man for selectors for like 20 years. NSW has gone back to trying to win with lower quality, grinding footy, even with more Kangaroo spine players.

NSW coaching has been a job for the boys since 2013 and, apart from a glimmer of hope with Maguire in 2024 (which NSW won), they have all been absolute myths. The first time Daley was appointed NSW coach he wheeled out his band of cronies and it remains a revolving door of ex-player reject losers. Pretty sure Barrett has failed dismally before in SOO (with Daley), so why would you want a proven SOO reject backed-up with 31.4% wins from 121 NRL games anywhere near NSW? What exactly could he bring to Origin apart from more reject friends and continuing losses?

Whilst i dont think he will be a success coaching origin, they should just give it to Ivan in 2027 and then back to madge in 28 once he is sacked by the the broncs in 27. He will be full of hatred for qld.
