In this game -:totally outplayed - but in the series overall nothing in it. But QLD just seems to find a way to clinch it.

QLD blew us away 2 x first halves, then we came out all guns blazing and fell short second half.

If that isn't poor coaching I don't know what is, because it's the same players affecting a radical turn-around after the break, and clearly not ready for the start of the match.

Selections are questionable. Stef was only in by virtue of Bellamy. They could sling him $60k in match payments off Storm books. He was a passenger all series and Daley had at least 2 better front row options to choose from. Robson offers nothing in creativity. Grant makes him look pedestrian. But Daley persisted. He is accountable for the series loss by way of selection policy. Stubborn guy.

Qld improved throughout the series while NSW went backwards. He failed to pick the best props the partner Haas. Max King and Stef are not Origin standard.

He picked injured players, which meant a disrupted preparation. Qld looked slick and well drilled with a team of fast, fit players. NSW looked slow and messy.

Slater had the guts to drop DCE , the QLD captain , after game 1 .

Daley picked the same plodders to try and prove he was right in his selections .

Lets be honest, when Daleys appointment was announced as coach NSW shoulders slumped and Qlders were overjoyed. There was nothing in Daleys past history to suggest he was the man for the job.

He has only reinforced what many feel by claiming in last nights press conference the Blues are "building"..................fair dinkum, the defending champions were building. Resign Loz, coaching aint for you.

Mentally showing up is the biggest hurdle NSW have imo. QLD have always been like a younger brother playing the older

Has next year apparently. Origin coaches don’t usually get sacked after one series loss.

Who else is there?

Whats wrong with a club coach? I get it, theres a lot of work to do, but hire some good assistants and let them do a lot of the work pre Origin then you've won half the battle. Like Gus said regarding the Aussie job, the best coaches are coaching already.
