Just to once again prove the Dally M positional awards are a joke, no Mika Sivo for wing, Marsters, Farah and Marshall get nominated, Brooks misses out.
I said it last year when Brooks won it was a joke, 12 months on nothing has changed, the NRL leading try scorer doesn't even get nominated.

@851 For Maika Sivo, I think its because you can only be nominated for one award, he was nominated for a rookie of the year contender.

The Masters nomination is a weird one though.

I don't think it does, I was sure it happened again last year where they used their so called discretionary powers to hand out awards to players who didn't score the most in their position

That is my take on it, happened last year as well
