I rate him VERY highly.

Same bug… he's been our 2nd best 2nd row forward behind Ellis this season.... i haven't lost hope in seeing him wear a jersey next season, and i wish to god he does!!!

When he tackles someone, he almost cuts them in half !!! When he got more time on the field, our points against dropped dramatically.

I am left bewildered by the recruitment and retention of this club. The amount of good players they release and the amount of horrible players they recruit is astonishing. I am absolutely stunned.

I'd doubt Heighno has the physical capabilities to bulk up enough. Some players just cant seem to put the weight on no matter how hard they try, but i dont know if Chris has this problem or not, if he doesnt, i see some merit in the idea. He'd need at least 5kg though, maybe more.

Heighno is already pretty bulked up as he is. You look at footage from 3,4,5 years ago and he was more lanky and solid, whereas now he's really built. I think we've had our fair share of turning back rowers into props. Leave him in the 2nd row or lock.

IMO Galea's best games this year has been when he's started. A starting backrow of Ellis, Galea and Heighno would be perfect. If Gibbs and Galloway are our two starting props then I'd rather Payten come off the bench instead of starting in the 2nd row and pushing Galea to the bench.

does anyone know, if Danny Galea has been approached by wests-tigers to be at club beyond this year, or if he has been having talks in latter part of this season.

I know its end of season, was not sure if the club has looked at playing roster for 2010 and thought he might be handy for next year etc.

I like him. He is a good defender. Have have running out wide in attack. Offer him $100,000 for 2010\. That will keep him happy.

No, the last report on Galea from last weeks RLW magazine says that the Tigers have released him, along with Payne and Trimarchi.

Maybe Rhino could work in the frontrow but he needs to stop running at the markers so often and he needs more of a rest during the games so he can go full pelt. Galea actually offers something to our team. Danny is a good defender and can put on bighits. I hope we keep him as long as it's not for more than $100,000 per year.

The starting forwards look ok for defense but I am not to sure if they would make enough meters though in attack.

Akeripa and Mataka to come on after about 25 minutes as second rowers to run hard out wide. They are guns and it could work very good but we still need to make meters up the middle first.

I think we need another quality front rower that can make good meters.
