David Klemmer...

The Dogs are in a shambles .. paying top dollars for both Woods and Foran is going to bite them in the ar*e .. !! They are going to lose at least two other players .. Kasiano, Eastwood, Graham and now Klemmer are players all be rumoured to be leaving the club.

Storm look to be after Kasiano and Newcastle are desperate to get Graham for next season. I wouldn't be surprised if Klemmer is cheesed off with the price of dollars they have thrown at Woods and Foran .. he's State of Origin starting prop now, and they not paying big dollars, and **there is talk that he will be starting from the bench for the Dogs next season .. the guy wants a starting position.**

I think the Tigers should offer him a bus ticket, more $$ than what he's on at the Dogs, and a starting position in the 2nd row, that would give us:

8\. Matulino
9\. McIlwrick
10\. Packer
11\. Klemmer
12\. McQueen
13\. Taylor

How sweet would this be .. !!

I can't see why this would happen, he's playing at 13 at the moment - the inclusion of Woods & Foran shouldn't change that. If he's good enough, he will still start.

Anyway, the whole thing is just a bunch of media bull to stoke the fires on a slow news day.

Because they've also got Tolman and Graham. And 4 into 3 won't go. Plus they've clearly stiffed him on one of their trademark TPA farces. Now it sounds like they're ready to give him his money which is against the rules.

I still can't see how it would affect Klemmer if he is playing at lock. If anything, Woods will probably be playing from the bench.

How many members is there on this forum? I'm hoping a couple of thousand members. We can than all in a common goal use the power of the masses. Hear me out for a second…...

Just a thought - maybe we can start a gofundme page for a player the majority agree on (after doing a poll) as a TPA which we can be presented to the player via his management

My understanding of TPA's is that the club can NOT organise it on behalf of the player but the player and their management team have to arrange it in addition to their contracted amount with the club.

Any thoughts?

Somehow I doubt Woods will start from the bench - he starts for NSW.

Apparently Klemmer is having a meeting with the Bulldogs on Monday about his future with the club. His manager plays a big part in this deal as well as money. Also, the Tigers are strongly linked to him if Klemmer does get released.

Hmmm, I don't think a TPA of $9.50 will attract too many top players.

Yeah true, perhaps it will be Tolman then, I still don't see how it will affect Klemmer when he's playing at lock.

Every person puts in what they can afford and btw don't be hard on your self as every dollar and cents counts

In most cases the club "introduces" the player and his manager to a "potential" TPA. They assist but of course do not organise. All emails from clubs are monitored by the NRL so they have to be very careful how they do things.

There are two types of TPA's the contract TPA's which is the one Klemmer is having a problem with.
The other TPA's are gigs with Channel nine Fox etc which are outside the contract and are organised by the manager.

Million dollar contracts for example Hunt and Hayne would get 900k on the cap and 300k TPA's. No way either player would get 1.2m on the cap.

I'm guessing they see Tolman as more of the lock type than Klemmer.

just kidding.

As much as I'd like Klemmer at wt, I don't think he'll be leaving the bulldogs. Their cap issues are well known and it seems to be transferring onto the field. Rumours of players being told to leave. I for one am enjoying their slide down the ladder.

Klemmer will stay at the dogs. He just dropped his manager and with him, some TPAs went out the window so the Dogs are trying to find suitable TPAs that can be registered with the NRL. Just as a side note, he dropped his manager David Riolo so he can link up with our good friend Isaac Moses…

I suppose Woods has been in his ear.
If Moses was his manager and he leaves Buldogs … Zilch chance of negotiating anything with WT management under that scenario.

I couldn't care less if he didn't come here. Him leaving the dogs would still be a big kick in the guts to Woods and would make him a much hated man amongst dogs supporters. I've heard from a few different sources now that its an issue with his management and not the Dogs which is extremely disappointing.

So woodsy is getting a group of dogs players all under the Moses umbrella?….. this is going to turn out great for the dogs!.... lol

I was going to say take him…. Now that he is with Issac Moses, forget him.

Issac Moses, he is kind of like seeing the hottest girl in the world in front of you and she walks up and says "I've got my period"..... It would be good if these players learn a lesson that extreme greed is going to harm your pay packet. Hopefully we can pick up Tolman if Klemmer is going for the big bucks.

If Woods and Moses orchestrated this messy dispute …. the Buldogs Coach and hierarchy would be really, really pissed with their new boy.
