David Klemmer...

The NRL should be concerned, as I.Moses(the puppet master) gains more & more of the top line players as his clients, its gives the RLPA headed by his main puppet (c.smith), more control in the pay dispute, greater chance of players striking if the NRL don't increase the cap. It has been stated that if cap goes up to the ten million limit the RLPA as seeking, agents will share in an extra 7 million overall between them. moses using players to his advantage. Soon it won't be the NRL it'll become the MRL

BULLDOGS PREPARED TO LET KLEMMER WALK

BRAYDEN ISSA reports on the explosive situation developing at the Canterbury Bulldogs surrounding representative forward David Klemmer.

After reports surfaced on Saturday claiming David Klemmer was seeking a release from Canterbury, it appears the Bulldogs are set to let the NSW Origin Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon walk.

A source close to the club told Commentary Box Sports the Bulldogs are willing to grant David Klemmer a release from his contract at the end of the 2017\. A meeting took place on Sunday afternoon shortly before their 38-0 spanking at the hands of the Penrith Panthers.

As the story broke, Bulldogs management went on the defensive, with outgoing CEO Raelene Castle claiming the reports were “completely inaccurate”. However, word circulated fast that Klemmer and his management had put forward a request to be released from his contract, one that expires at the end of 2020.

@raelenecastle are you going to comment on David klemmer asking for a release ? Or continue to dodge and hide from the real issues ?

It was originally understood that Klemmer and his team had an ongoing financial dispute with the Bulldogs and an unnamed third-party, who was not a sponsor of the club.

Despite using post-match interviews to strongly deny the reports, Commentary Box Sports understands Klemmer is also unhappy with the club’s direction – not only the Bulldogs’ on-field performance, but also their management and recruitment methods. It is understood Klemmer is particularly dissatisfied with the club’s decision to move on popular five-eighth Josh Reynolds.

The Bulldogs’ board, whilst hopeful to retain Klemmer’s services for the remainder of his contract, is understanding of his stance and will not attempt to keep the Test forward against his will. They remain optimistic Klemmer will remain a Bulldog beyond 2017, but it is believed Klemmer’s mind is made up, having already informed incoming recruit Aaron Woods of his plans to play elsewhere next season.

This development stands to have major repercussions not only at the Bulldogs, but the landscape of the entire league. It comes hot on the heels of the Bulldogs signing Woods, a representative teammate and one of Klemmer’s closest friends, and presents a strange situation in which Klemmer may have become expendable due to Woods’ impending arrival.

It is now likely that James Graham will remain at Canterbury until his contract ends at the end of next season. The skipper was strongly tipped to be the player to make room at the club, linked with Manly, Newcastle, St George Illawarra and the Warriors.

Klemmer, a veteran of nine Tests and seven Origins at just 23 years of age, will immediately become the hottest commodity on the NRL market. Whilst many clubs have already flooded their books with signings for next season, his signature will be of interest to several teams, most notably Newcastle, Manly, Canberra and the Warriors.

Had a quick look at this website and they have no history of making anything else up or posting other rumours, think this as a one off scoop they have and might be true

Without knowing what is really going on - his onfield
performances have been less than ordinary atm.
Dejavu moment or press stirring up a story - lets remember how players were lamblasted on here when they supposedly reacted negatively to their mates being moved on.

Want WT to become a Moses free zone and have nothing to do with new recruits managed by that poor excuse for a man. Regardless of the talent that we could potentially nab from under his umbrella, with the way he acted towards the club this past year and more, he deserves such a stance.

Even though I would love to see Klemmer leave the Dogs (not necessarily to the Tigers), I cannot see him leaving, I'm sure the matter will be sorted out.

Nice sentiment and I agree somewhat, however not really achievable. Rorters and Uncle Nick took a similar stand…and then along came Tedesco..

All i am saying is business is business and i think if the right player comes along you do the deal; all i hope is that they have all learned from this and ensure the contract(s) and the terms and clear cut so no opportunities arise for collusion (which is clearly what is was) or other shenanigans...

I don't want him know that he is signed to Isaac Moses and his form hasn't been great. I think the Dogs want him to go to help out their cap situation. Still he is better than Woods for sure.

Ah that explains Uncle Nick's stance.

I guess we can do the same thing. Klemmer has to be around the 500K mark if going cheap. Hey if the Dogs pay $300K loading we can match them.

Also would not prefer Klemmer to Woods. But I think he will fit our team a little better, we need an impact player up front and he certainly is an impact player.

He wont leave. Why does everyone put him at 13 when thats where he doesnt want to play.

Haslers forsard pack is ridiculous. Klemmar is a prop. He aint a lock. Id take him though. Him and packer start with matulino off the bench.

Ooh, a blog said they'll let him go so that must be true…!

Even if there is an issue with a TPA (why would this be linked to an agent??) the Dogs can't do anything about TPA's to help him. That's specifically what they're designed to not do. They're not supposed to know anything other than what his agent tells him he's getting on top. Not to say that some clubs don't illegally do it, but the Dogs wouldn't come out and be so obvious about it either.

I think reynolds leaving is a big reason why hes got the shuts aswell as place in the team. Hes a australian rep yet plays out of position or on the bench. Id be pissed too.

Klemmer will stay at the dogs. He just dropped his manager and with him, some TPAs went out the window so the Dogs are trying to find suitable TPAs that can be registered with the NRL. Just as a side note, he dropped his manager David Riolo so he can link up with our good friend Isaac Moses…

It's interesting that Riolo and iMoses used to be partners at Titan Management. Also interests me that players would want to move to iMoses after how badly mMoses' and Woods' reputations were tarnished in the recent contract sagas - I wouldn't be entirely enthused about how that played out and what advice iMoses was giving to his clients.

What a shambles of a club. I imagine James Hooper et al will be all over this.

Haha and Woods wants to leave the WT because our club is a mess….good luck Woodsy at the Dogs.....they are in a bigger mess than the WT...our problems were solved late last year.....the Dogs' problems have just begun!

Bingo, except know what Des will do. He will keep the players in the loop and take a look at his stats….
Rule a line through those he thinks have hit max potential. He will then sit down with them quietly and ask them to take one for the team (or some other form of the talk). The player will be hurt but brave. His manager will then get another contract.

JT Rattled our team and structure. Des will manage it right with the guys who stay behind.

Has he said he doesn't want to play 13? I don't disagree with your assessment but all I've seen is that he doesn't want to be on the bench.
