I’ve noticed sometimes they won’t say it straight away, they did it with Joey Leiluas deal too. Wonder how it all works

Did the club report Momo resigning?....Ayoub lives in Strathfield, he is my parents neighbour, they have known each other very well for 20 years

From NRL.com 23/03/2020
Wests Tigers have today reached a historic agreement with the Melbourne Storm that will see the club sign Storm-contracted hooker Harry Grant for the 2020 NRL season.

In return, Wests Tigers-contracted centre Paul Momirovski will join Melbourne effective immediately, with both players to then return to their respective contracted clubs at the end of the 2020 season.
**Wests Tigers are currently in negotiations with Momirovski for the 2021 season and beyond.**

Following approval from the NRL, the loan deal will take place with immediate effect for both clubs with Grant eligible to play for Wests Tigers this week.

While commonplace in other sports, the arranged deal between two clubs is unusual in rugby league and highlights an innovative approach to the player market by Wests Tigers and the Storm.
Both players will also be eligible for selection when Wests Tigers face Melbourne in Round 16.
Wests Tigers General Manager – Football Adam Hartigan officially welcomed Grant to the club, and thanked Melbourne for their role in negotiations with the loan deal.

“On behalf of all at the club, I’d like to welcome Harry to Wests Tigers and thank Paul for his efforts since joining the club in 2019,” Hartigan said. “Paul is a fine young man and has made a strong impact on his teammates and coaches alike since joining Wests Tigers.

“I’d like to thank Melbourne for their role in helping this deal take place and for being like-minded in their innovative approach to rugby league.

“The arrival of Harry now gives us a specialist hooker in our roster following the retirement of Robbie Farah and the injury sustained by Jacob Liddle,” Hartigan added. “While we are excited for the future of Jake Simpkin and a number of young players on our roster, this deal now allows us to significantly strengthen our side while not troubling our future roster.

That didn't but even his contract and option is on the link provided.

He is included on the current list of contracted players for 2021.

However, I think tigerap is correct. The whole Momo signing was treated in a rather strange way. The club didn't announce formally Momo's signing.

During last season the only player list on the WT site was the "Wests Tigers 2020 NRL Squad". The list showed the current contracted players and the length of their contracts.

Momo was not on that list. You might say that was because he was not contracted for 2020, which is true. But, Stefano was included on the list, and his contract didn't start until 2021 either.

The treatment was inconsistent and caused some confusion on here.

I recall conversations about the number of contracted players for 2021 and often people had to be reminded "don't forget Momo, he is not on the list".

Just thinking about Madge and his elusive search for combinations during the last 2 seasons. One combination which we no longer have is Benji/Nofa. Benji with the cut out rainbow or kick to the corner for Nofa would not have been too obvious to the defence. A plan no doubt hatched on the golf course? Bloke in the bar asked Nofa.. who else do you play golf with?” “Just Benji”“who else plays golf at the WT?” Nofa replied “I don’t know.” Does anyone else think that it is odd ? I mean why isn’t golf played by more of WT players?

Just listened todays Brooks SEN interview, he was asked who is the gold tragic at the tigers?
Brooks had to think hard about it and said Mybe was the only one that played golf, he thinks.

Weird on a number of reasons.
Golf is usually footy players social game, why don't WT know who plays?
Also if Mybe plays and Nofa play, don't they know each other play and why not play together.

Feels like benji and nofa playing together is a bit of the old school boys club culture

Yep, my point exactly. And when you consider that they don’t know each other the statistics also tell a very different story. Benji had 17 try assists, Nofa scored 17 tries. I looked at all of Nofa’s triesduring the Christmas break, it’s clear Benji went looking for him. I hope the team has done some bonding sessions since.

If I worked for the tele, I find my topics which a best for clickbait, sink a box of red wine, and just make things up from thin air.

I'm just sad they don't all play golf with Uncle Harry on a monthly basis. Pretty sure all the Roosters players like a round of golf or 3.
