Pretty disappointed with the majority of responses in this thread.

He's an integral part of our team, bleeds for the club and plays his heart out every time he steps on the field. On top of that he's easily in the top 3 wingers in the game at the moment, him winning the dally m makes that an undisputed claim. He would not be easily replaced

If we lost him it would be dark days for the club. Let's hope the club and him come to a resolution sooner than later

wow chicken little the sky is falling in he is a winger
what was a dark day for the club was when we lost tedesco nsw fullback and nsw captain Australian fullback
Nofo is a good club winger at 400k or 450k then stay anymore then leave

I know this forum likes to voice its opinnions and what not.

But i got none in re to Nofa, his been loyal, his never sold the club out, and i love watching him play.

I think nofa has earned the right to go where he wants to go! I hope he stays here, like a lot of people have said, he is probs the vision of Wt for the next couple years, I mean purely faced on the fact that if he plays for one more year and completes more than 10 tries, he will be the highest try scorer for Wt.

I dont think his worth more than 500k on paper, but i like rallying around a dream, I think thats him next year tbh, I could be wrong and thats ok, but I hope we retain him

I understand your love for Nofa, gosh I like the guy too, but emotional reaction doesn’t win premierships, and $500k will get you a winger who can score tries and tackle. I would offer Nofa no more than $325k plus vehicle and veterans allowance.

I just think the price of wingers are going up. the whole finding my way accidently to the try line saga needs to end. Wingers win games, espescially wingers like nofa that can cut in, seriously it the only reason i like him, show me another a winger that can do that as well as he can and im happy to say cya

What about wingers that get on the outside of their opponent like JAC did to Nofoaluma and sprint 70 or 80 metres for tries? Those who have the outright pace to run opponents down over distance. Those wingers that are match winners like JAC.

Noffa definitely ran over a few people’s dogs, The hate is quite irrational. To some, it matches the dribble people used to go on about with JT

Probably more the understanding that Nofoaluma is an average club winger, nothing more. Yes he and his manager are happy to inform us he is loyal but that must be accompanied with more cash. Sorry but he can be on his way.

Average club winger? Can you name a better ball running winger who breaks more tackles in the competition?

How many SOO games has he played = 0. The reason is he is not good enough. I like to believe I am a fair judge and not blinded by the fact he plays for WTs.. We can find good replacements from within WTs which is the way it should be.

125k less than this year - glad you are not negotiating.

We've seen far better outside backs depart WTs for differing reasons. I am referring to Koroibete, JAC and Simona. All are/were in a different class to Nofoaluma as outside backs. All possess/ed the one commodity that brings a new dimension to the attack and defence, genuine pace over long distance. Nofoaluma's departure for another club would be a semi colon on the history of WTs, not a full stop.

We should sign Corey Allan and Brenko Lee because they played Origin..oh and Phillip Sami and Coen Hess to round out the back row

With the allowances that would get it close to $400k. ? you’re right, I’m no Herb Cohen ?
Either way, I think Nofa is making noises like he wants to go. He likes the idea of replacing Fergo and renewing his combo with Moses on the left side. He is quoted as saying he will follow the money. Not much WT can do about it without bending the cap in Nofa’s favour.

Average club wingers dont lead the meters gained each week,if we where to lose him who will do the "dirty" hit ups from deep in our half?Nof has his faults but his value to our team is a definate positive. He is the clubs current leading try scorer and should become the clubs all time try scorer this year.

A good young wing prospect could have a positive impact on our team but do so with just as much strength, considerably faster and at a much more reasonable price. This would allow us to identify and sign a junior replacement.

Who will do it for Panthers without Mansour? Who will do it for Eels without Ferguson? Nofa?
In 2017 we reluctantly matched the Eels offer, I don’t see it happening this time.

Club fans here are unfrogiving ill give you that

He’s not fast. He never has been. JAC burned past him in a millisecond. They’re just facts.

i think ive shown enough proof, you hide anything you want at this point

The proof was simply watching JAC run away from him.

im voting your comment cos it was so intellectual compared to mine

You’re kidding mate, this is a discussion/opinion forum not a down in the gutter win at all costs vote scoring forum, ease up with your back opinions, you will find it easier.

Quite right, apologies just got a bit heated I guess

Just gonna add in re to short sprint speed for nofa he doesnt get stopped on those 80 meter intercepts we all love watching, his got the ability to keep it up I reckon, nowhere near JAC for sure.

I don’t think he will go anywhere, do you?

I said earlier, I don’t believe he did write the letter.

Yes, I don’t see this guy being too driven by money, he seems to be more about the flair fame and fortune. I’m thinking he wants to play finals tbh ?‍♂️

Yes, I agree that Freddy Fittler should be the judge of whether someone is a good player or not. Gutho is a great centre. Paul Vaughan is the best prop in the game (2019 selection I know).

Paws, I really do admire your support for the youth but in the NRL you really need hard experienced players, while bringing the youth up to speed.
We are in the doldrums of success which we need get out of, imo.

Why use hyperbole to make your point? There have been other SOO coaches and he hasn't been selected. Why? Not good enough.
