Ive gone the full 360 on Mansour and heres why
1)Our squad has no specialist wingers apart from Nofo-were comsistently trying to manufacture centres into wingers,so if AK doesnt kmake it youll see Talau of Momo...or Cini.Truth is theyre not fast enuff.Mansour wld be as quick as Nofo,better defender but not quite as good as tackle breaker.He cld be useful subject to fitmess
2)JAC aint coming..were dreaming..and theres nobody else worth chasing apart from Garret whom we shld have leveraged Aloi for..history
3)Theres a 50/50 chance Nofo (already overpaid at $450 given his defensive issues)will join Eeels...knowing we have few options,were at his mercy.A 2 yr Mansour contract is a lot like the Morris Bros plugging a gap
4)Our backs,despite reshuffled deckchairs,are the same ones that sstruggled to score in 2020 despite Benjis 22 try assists.Mansour provides some improvement
So all things considered...Mansour adds value for 2 years on any other option we may have

There is zero chance of Brisbane subsidising Brody Croft to come here to snap up a reserve grade half who is recovering from an ACL and wont be available for half a season.

you'd be surprised what brisbane might do

If they make decisions like that, they have a mortgage on the spoon and they deserve it

I've been saying that for a while. Mansour is not my favourite winger, but we need someone with experience there. The left wing was heavily targeted last year by the opposition with a lot of success.

Nofa is the only winger we have that deserves to be first choice in first grade.

Agree. Hopefully we are in the fight for Coates.

I'd love to keep Nofa, but we can't sit and wait for him. Even if we somehow got Coates and Nofa wanted to stay, that is one hell of a wing pairing.
