David Nofoaluma #164

Guessing we have offered mid to high 400s. If Mansour comes for half that it’ll be ok I guess, but if the money is higher we may as well give Nofo another 30 k or so. If Madge wants a nugget on the wing Nofo>Mansour

If NOFA goes, then you have Tommy and AJ Kapoa, AJ showed great confidence, a big body and speed and Tommy has improved a lot. As the saying goes, your not indispensable, there is always somebody looking for that opportunity.

This has gotta be one of the most toxic threads on the forum. Has very little to do with Nof resigning and is more attacking him based off zero credible sources and how long the supposed deal is taking. I get we’ve been in mediocrity for close to a decade now but doesn’t mean you have to accept it as the norm, eg swapping Nofoaluma for mansour

It seems some are conditioned to it and not even interested in seeing the club advance sometimes.

Wouldn’t paying top dollar for Nofo be the definition of accepting mediocrity?

I completely agree with not paying overs.

But it would suck to lose him,he loves this club,is a junior and had an awesome season.

Cotric, Sivo, Ferguson, Coates, Kamikamica, Gagai, Allen, both Morris bros,

All of those guys are better wingers than nofo, without considering JAC. How many of them would be getting $500K? Maybe 2-3

Im a little confused are South's after Mansour or Nofa or both? - and if so why let Allen go?

I got told by a Souths supporting mate that he’s heard they want Nofa however aren’t convinced he’ll leave. Mansour is a close second choice and if nothing happens with Nofa soon they’ll sign him

You’ve put a front rower (and a centre) in there? And your arguments are dubious.

hello Tigers fans, Souths have expressed interest in signing Nofoaluma as expressed in the news this morning however, it isn’t all gloomy on your guys end. Laurie and Mansour will be heading to you guys this year if Nofoaluma elects to take up the Souths offer, if he does he could potentially be heading there for the 2021 season.

Your team is also interested in signing Dallin Watene-zalezniak from the Bulldogs. He played his best football under Michael Maguire for the Kiwi international side. This signing is most likely for 2022 but nonetheless a good signing.

Not sure letting Nofa go early is worth it to get Mansour and Laurie. We’re getting Laurie in 2022 anyway and Mansour is a downgrade

As for DWZ he did play good under Madge but he’s been pretty average lately, he’s no fullback and not sure he’s that great a winger either

Thanks for the info though

Mansouris not a downgrade David has had ONE good year that is all

Got me, I was thinking Vunivalu, but you could slot Lumelume in there. Fair enough that you think my arguments dubious, which of them do you think Nofo is better than?.

Nofo gone and Mansour with Dane Laurie for 2021 is good.
Would not release Nofo a year early though no benefit to us doing that

It’s absolutely rubbish taking other teams scraps again because our best players want to win games - if true.

Reading a lot of posts on here - I wouldn't think that is the case Boss.

See what happens when people keep talking about the Dogs. One of the inmates escapes from the cesspool and starts posting here.

As if WT would be going anywhere near DWZ 800k price tag. You suckers are stuck with him for another couple of years!

Hahah that's some real magic right there, speaking it into existence.
Also, completely agree that DWZ at that price is crazy!! Is that what he's on?
But would you take him for say 400k? He was terrible last year but most dogs were, and he did fold Matty Moylan like an old deck chair, that's worth a minimum contract alone.
