Would have thought Taniela would have?

PR try every 1.5769 games
TT try every 1.8571 games

Patty has the best strike rate. What a legend.

That was my first thought too but unless my maths is off I had Pat at 63% and Tank at 52%.

I was expecting the article to read: 'Nofoluma gets record of most metres run sideways in NRL of all time'...

I thought most fist pumps , back slaps ...most likely to injure his own player in post try celebration

Positional try scoring records??

Yeah... we don't have much else to blow our trumpet about I guess

Yeah, I love stats, but not even I care about this one.

Precisely what I thought.

All-time try scorers:

1. Ken Irvine: 212
2. Billy Slater: 190
3. Steve Menzies: 180
4. Andrew Ettingshausen: 165
5. Terry Lamb: 164
6. Brett Stewart: 163
=7. Hazem El Masri: 159
=7. Matt Sing: 159
9. Nathan Merritt: 154
=10. Harold Horder: 152
=10. Manu Vatuvei: 152

We need to go a long way down the list before we get to see anyone who played for us...
76. Michael Buettner: 96
=87: Brett Hodgson: 92
=94: Lote Tuqiri: 90
=101: Benji Marshall: 89
=101: Terry Hill: 89
=105: Braith Anasta: 88
=109: John Hopoate: 87
=119: Matt Utai: 85

And finally, the first one-club player at Wests Tigers...
=126: Chris Lawrence: 83

And then there is Nofoaluma...
=361: David Nofoaluma: 52

How I would love to see a true try-scoring back at our club. Someone who could tear up this list, scoring 20 tries a season...

@Zach he gets dominated in every tackle lifted and sideways or backwards, marsters is not going much better also but poor form keeps getting you picked in the tigers

Not every tackle; about half of tackles. When Nofo actually runs straight, aims for the gap between players and pumps his legs hard, rather than trying to jink and step, he is quite effective. I don't know why the guy doesn't just run top speed at the opposition, because he is 96 kg and a little shy of 6 ft tall, he doesn't need the failed attempt at footwork.

There is a story in todays Tele about the fastest player in the game, it ranks the 16 fastest players, plus each clubs fastest this year according to the Telstra tracker.
No surprise JAC is number 1, but number 2 is a surprise, it is our very own Nofa.
I can't open the link, but here it is

@851
I was incredibly shocked tbh, I mean we’ve always known nofa is a talent attacking wise...it’s just his defense that’s a bit reserve grade

I don’t believe those numbers at all. Nofo would struggle to drive a car that fast.

To the people who still believe Nofoaluma is slow, DT put out an article of the top speeds reached in the NRL this year.

2. **David Nofoaluma 36.7 km/h**
3. Latrell Mitchell 36.6 km/h
4. Matt Dufty 36.5 km/h
5. Suliasi Vunivalu 36.1 km/h

7. Ryan Papenhuyzen 35.8 km/h
8. James Tedesco 35.7 km/h

>Tautau Moga is rugby league’s unluckiest player. So how the bloody hell is he also among its quickest?

>Despite having had four knee reconstructions since 2012, League Central can reveal the exclusive Telstra Tracker data that has clocked Moga travelling 36km/h this year — or sixth fastest among all NRL players.
>
>The shock result means the resurrected Newcastle centre, who is still only 25, now sits among an eclectic list of 20 flyers — among them NRL rookies, underrated wingers, even a Roosters backrower — ready to challenge Melbourne flyer Josh Addo-Carr for the crown of Fastest Man in Rugby League.
>
>Undoubtedly, Addo-Carr is the quickest athlete anywhere in the code.
>
>Playing against North Queensland in round five, the indigenous flyer was clocked at 38.5km/h — the fastest NRL speed recorded via GPS, ever.
>
>The result makes the NSW Origin star the undeniable No.1 in a debate that, traditionally, has a small cast of usual suspects, including Roosters fullback James Tedesco, South Sydney centre James Roberts and Manly megastar Tom Trbojevic.
>
>However, according to the numbers provided by Telstra Tracker, those getting closest to Addo-Carr this year are Wests Tigers winger David Nofoaluma (36.7km/h), Roosters centre Latrell Mitchell (36.6km/h) and livewire St George Illawarra fullback Matt Dufty (36.5km/h).
>
>Elsewhere, three NRL rookies have also catapulted themselves into the debate.
>
>Melbourne utility Ryan Papenhuyzen and Canberra winger Bailey Simonsson have recorded times that sit inside the top 10, while Bronson Xerri is the fastest man at Cronulla.
>
>Other shock entries include Raiders No.6 Jack Wighton and Roosters backrower Victor Radley.
>
>Undoubtedly, though, the most surprising name remains Moga, the seemingly jinxed Newcastle centre who, in eight seasons in the NRL, has played just 65 games, churned through four clubs, and also ruptured his ACL four times — most recently in round four last year while scoring a try against St George Illawarra.
>
>Retired Olympic sprinter and Fox League analyst Matt Shirvington described Moga’s results as “amazing”.
>
>And NSW Origin head of performance Hayden Knowles joked: “You’d almost think somebody has switched his GPS reading with Kalyn Ponga.”

Cheers mate I couldn't open the link, I read the paper and tried to find it on line

If Nofa is the speed machine these results portray, why haven't we seen him scoot away like Addo Carr does regularly?

Easily CB , probably scored around 2 tries every 3 games
