So sorry GNR4LIFE or shall i say Mr Maguire i forgot you know everything...
It grates on my no end when i see people who think we can offer a trade for someone who is a. not in the team or not playing good e.g. Jennings for Grant
It is because nofo is going so well that is why he might be a chance at a trade with storm for when they lose JAC. Storm are not going to want Jennings

He’s going so well now, it’s no longer believable when you bag him, so nowyou shift to we need to trade him. Your bitterness towards him because he’s so far ahead of Jennings is sad at this point

Mate in my post today i never said replace him with Jennings
i want to keep Grant so him or Brooks would be the only decent trades
i forgot all opinions need to agree with yours

At least i can admit i was wrong with bagging him after the gold coast game you on the otherhand are so blinkered with your hatred for Jennings you just assume that is who i talk about. In fact i said Jennings wouldnt be wanted in a trade at Melbourne. God forbid anyone that doesnt agree with you and your views

I have never understood why he cops such a bagging on this forum.

He's a local junior, he's among the club's record try scorers, regularly leads some key stats and plays like an extra forward.

A lot of the defensive criticism comes from people that don't have much of a knowledge of footy.

Nuffie is a good NRL player nothing more nothing less .. needs to make high percentage plays like intercepts as he is court short defensively heaps . Last night does not take intercept 2 outside of him again there’s 6 points .

Not sure what snake juice you're drinking mate, whatever it is get off it!

His numbers speak loud and clear!

There is always someone that cops it on this forum, Fitzhenry, Moltzen and now Nofo have probably been the main targets over the years

I've been a huge critic of Nofo but he's having a very good season. Simple as that really.

Nofoaluma overtook Brooks last year which is an achievement in itself..

If he is the top of the list to find a replacement we are doing bloody well. I think his work rate, hitups on new sets, the quick play the balls etc many don’t focus on. He also is a quality finisher. As wingers go he is top 10 on wingers in the comp.

He just has to run straight and hard and his game develops from there. If he starts going sideways, shimmying, trying to ghost about the field - he's having an off night and it affects his whole game.

If he runs hard and dirty early, he just gets into that rhythm where he's hard to tackle and hustles and bustles his way through the match. This influences both his early-tackle runs and his defence, where he is less likely to be caught in no-man's-land.

There have been a few times this year when Nofo was all at sea, ghosting across the field and getting wiped, his hands letting him down, rushing up in D.

But credit, he turned it around, I thought last week vs Cowboys was his best game up of 2020 until then, but he gave an extra 30% against the Dogs. Basically he and Talau turned the match by converting some half-chances and then the intercept crippled any attempted Bulldogs comeback.

Unlike last week against Cows where we let them back into the match and they rifled off 20 points, we kept on the Dogs all game and Nofo is very effective in those types of scraps.

Better attacking units however I think will still run and kick at Nofo. Because we have to be frank, Dogs and Cows are not clinical attacking powerhouses.

He was dropped last season by MADGE and has earned his spot back into the team and kept it. Attack never been an issue, Defense and attitude has improved along with the full team. Deserves to be there and hope he retains his spot otherwise looks like Jennings will get another run after injury.
The other thing he does bring to the team is morale you usually see him leading the team song and gels well with all the players, loves the Jersey.

Talau and Noffa are set and forget the rest of the year.

Injury could also play a part, our back up options are light.

It’s funny with Nofa, a lot of people either think he can do no wrong or that he’s the worst winger in the competition

I’ve been a critic but you can’t deny how well he’s playing. As long as the defence stays solid then what can you complain about?

His attack has been on another level and we really needed him to step up in that department this year and he has. Talau can hopefully continue his good form too and we will actually have some strike wingers for once

Sione Katoa looks to be doing pretty well at the Sharks by those stats... Sign him up!

It’s the people who think he can do no wrong that grind my gears ..
Same as for Brooks .
They sit on there hands and wait until the “can do no wrong players “ have a blinder then say “ where are all the haters now”?

Same can be said for those that wait for a loss to say how crap they are then disappear until the next loss
