Three weeks ago Josh A.never wanted to play anywhere else. I think we are entitled to get use to the fact that player loyalty only ever lasts the length of a contract, and once bigger and better offers come in club loyalty starts to look very shakey. We would be silly to assume that Nofa is different but would be more than happy if he decided to stay.
I totally agree. You can't begrudge someone looking at their options. As long as they honour their existing contract, then I have no issue.
The more I think about it, the more I hate the Nov 1st rule. We are talking about players signing elsewhere a year in advance, with contracts in place! The result is, everyone wants to leave immediately.
Go back to June 30. Players in the NBA get traded and move within 24hrs. Surely players can manage a move in 4 months.
It would stop all this crap, trying to leave a year early.
