DCE to stay at Manly?

This is precisely why player movements shouldn't be made public before a certain date, clubs will sell their grandmother and their back teeth to let the whole world know they've signed the best thing since sliced bread only to have it blow up in their face when the player has a change of heart.!….....

well im not DCE but if manly couldnt match the offer i wouldnt be hanging around.

If the report of money is true than its a no brainer staying there for less money.
Unless off course he is going to get 6 houses, money from pokies, boat(s) and all in a so called 3rd party deals ?? lol

Haha Sezer reneging would be icing on the cake, Ricky would burst.

That would be hilarious

I reckon Toovey is in strife as well , I reckon if they lose to the Dogs he is a dead man walking

Titans probably offered him more originally, and now Manly probably have the money to keep him on, I won't blame him for staying. Just like when Teddy originally signed with Canberra. You have to make decisions that will fulfil your long term goals. I've made career decisions for significantly more money and I will never bag a footy player for doing the same as I have, unless they wrap themselves in cotton wool. You give 100% until you walk out the door.

Absolutely, yeah we toasted when Tedesco reneged on his deal with Canberra but how bad would it be if it happened to us? Imagine we signed say Michael Jennings and then he reneged on his deal with us and stayed at the Roosters. We get our hopes up and then bang.
Always be careful what we wish for on other Clubs.

I'd go. He's on a bag to leave, form is ordinary. If he stays and plays a few more bad months, he'll drop his value.

The Titans have been assured that Daly Cherry-Evans will be at the club in 2016.

The Gold Coast Titans have issued a statement regarding the future of Daly Cherry-Evans at the club following reports he was considering reneging on the four-year deal to stay with the Sea Eagles. "Following media speculation over the last few hours I have spoken directly with Gavin Orr and Chris Orr of Pacific Sports Management," said Titans CEO Graham Annesley on Thursday evening. "I have been assured that any suggestion Daly Cherry-Evans will not be honouring his contract with the Titans is untrue."

Fultons return after 15yrs certainly has raised some dust so to speak…..
If DCE stays at Manly...good luck to him....
If Toovey goes, then bad luck.he has had his chances....
The Titans would be the biggest losers after letting Siezer go,which I reckon is pretty unfair because of waiting for DCE...

Just goes to show contractual Law is very important however, the NRL rules are a law unto their own.....as GEO said they are an oxymoron.....
