Dear Adam

I like the addition of Blair. Whtever way you look at it, he brings mongrel and aggression, something we've severely lacked. That loose arm on nightingale at least woke us up though nothing eventuated.
I saw him read and direct lawrence when we were pinned up against our goal line, he has good defensive read in that area, shame his shoulder attempt couldn't save that try but hey, he was coming from the other side

Who we are really lacking is Gibbs IMO.

Well said Tobbes…the petulant way so called fans are reacting on here tonight is shameful.

It will take Adam some time to get used to playing with a soft pack ..I,m sure he is have some thoughts of were he is at the moment I,m sure you get the drift,.

All the tries against us tonite were soft and up the guts which certainly points to a problematic forward pack. With the acception of Fulton and Farrah the stats show a very sub standard effort tonite. Yes it is only round three but we dont yet look life a side that can compete with the boncs or storm or anyone really. Blairs certainly tried hard but was found out tonite. He seems to have a problem reading the attack thus gets caught out of position. I feel ,given that we decimated our pack to secure his services, tigers fans could be justified in expecting a little more . Maybe hell come good when Ellis returns. Having said all that in all fairness the others around him have some improvement in them also.

Again we have a right to be disappointed and concerned , but at the moment we have time to change and fix things If we get to round 11 and we are 4-7 yes everyone can put there lifejackets on but we could turn it around next week and win 5 of our next 6

I remember hearing the other week that Melbourne hadn't won a first round match since 2006 or something, but they were still a dominant team in every one of those seasons as we all know. If we're still performing like this after round 5, then I'll be worried. We're working with a lot of new additions - even the fact that Groat and Woods had barely seen a starting spot between them before this year. Tom Humble has become more of a necessity than we anticipated, Sheens seems to be leaning towards Reddy over Utai, our bench last night had about 20 first grade games between them, and we were missing our two most important forwards in Galloway and Ellis. Once we oil up all these gears and get them working, we'll see our form turn around. I don't see this as being a team that will let us down, they were so good to us last year.

imagine what it would be like if he was running at compressed lines running towards him.

first half he was completely dominated with the ball.put on his back with 4 to 5 second play the balls.
and a lost ball.
doesn't break tackles or create any momentum.

will look good on the end of others work in attack.
sadly we don't have that luxury.

Dear Adam give us some money back! You have not shown you are worth $500k

He never was worth $500k. The guy who suggested to sign him Warren McDonald should be the one giving the money back.

Dear Adam, Keep on Trying to fit into our structure. I can see the amount of work you are doing is sometimes not rewarded with the luxury of 'key stats', but I'm glad you are doing your best in working your way into this team. The number of Kms you covered tonight was brilliant.

Stay Safe & Injury Free!!!

Dear Adam,
I was very excited when you decided to join the Tigers. I was really looking forward to the power you would bring to our attacking game, as well as your toughness in defence.
I am now saving to buy you a one way ticket to Melbourne :rant

Women.

LMFAO…

Also half you people have no idea, Blair is such an asset to this team. ITS his 3rd game ffs.

This is the loss we needed, we will probably win 5 or 6 in a row now and you will all be calling Blairs praises.

That hit on Merrin last night for payback on his lost ball was the only mongrel shown in the whole game!
Yeah Ryan's was good but i think it was more a fluke lol.

Some player stats from last night:
ATTACK
Adam Blair 80 mins 10 runs 77m gained 0 offloads 0 tackle breaks
C.Heighno 71 mins 15 runs 74m gained 1 offload 0 tackle breaks
Murdoch-M 28 mins 11 runs 72m gained 1 offload 0 tackle breaks
Thought Blair would be the one to hit the ball up, get the ball away and bust through tackles?
DEFENCE
Adam Blair 80 mins 26 tackles 1 missed 4 ineffective
R.Farah 80 mins 39 tackles 1 missed 2 ineffective
L.Fulton 73 mins 51 tackles 1 missed 1 ineffective
Maybe Blair will take time to settle in, but would have expected a higher work rate and a more damaging attack from him.
