Degois made farah look average

I dont agree that Cameron Smith is better than Robbie.

Robbie is better in every facet of the game.

Stats back up my argument.

Robbie Farah has set up twice as many tries in his career than Smith.
He has broken more tackles than Smith,
Scored more tries than Smith,
Missed less tackles than Smith,
Farah has made 3 times more line break assists than Smith,
More metres run than Smith,
More metres kicked than Smith,
Farah has almost made the same amount of tackles per game
AAAND !!! all this and he debuted in first grade much later than SMITH.

Who is better now ??

Smith is….by quite a way.

Farah is playing injured I noticed his posture when he bends to pick up a ball it stands out more when you see it live..

smith may be more consistent but he doesnt and cant do half the things robbie does and the stats prove it. smith had a blinder in origin 1 probably the best ive seen him play of late. but u have to look at the team around u, a hooker isnt playing at his full potential if his forwards arent dominating and smith has always played behind a dominant pack whether its the storm or the maroons.

The only people talking about De Gois tonight are on here.
Farah might not have done it pretty but he set up the try to get us back into the game then (eventually) won the game himself.
You can compare him to who you like but playing at way less than his best he keeps winning us games.
When was the last time DeGois won a game for Newcastle?

That probably sums it up the best. Robbie is obviously playing injured but still had the class to win the game for us.

I also think Robbie is injured, the "spark" he used to have just isn't there at the moment - he still has the skills but the body is letting him down.

As others have said if he had a forward pack that dominated a bit more he would look better.

The forwards were disgraceful tonight and have been for most of the year.
No metres and a lot of dropped ball.
Imagine if Robbie and Benji actually played behind a dominant pack they would be unstoppable.

The most frustrating thing is in the finals last year we saw how effective our forward pack can be with the right attitude. If they don't pull their finger out soon this year will be over before it began

You have to be kidding in regards to Heighington ,Ellis and Keefy . They played their ringholes out

The difference between Smith and Farah is this:

The difference between a poor game from Smith and a great game from Smith is very minimal. Not so much the case with Farah, who when poor is very poor.

I love Robbie to death but he looks lethargic out there, and more importantly, selfish. Yes, he still has the class to win us games but he has the ability and talent to play better, more consistant football and he is simply not doing it right now. Very frustrating.

3 forwards ran for over 100m tonight according to NRL stats. I know there were 6 extra minutes but the stats indicate they weren't as bad/disgraceful/awful as some of you seem to think.

I agree that those three did but honestly mate there was hardly a time in that match where we looked on the front foot through our go forward. Also the ball control was disgraceful.

Also Fifita - 141m 25 tackles (no misses)

Biggest problem tonight ( apart from Lui's defence ) was the amount of dropped ball - terrible again.
Why can''t our forwards hang on to the ball - when they do they make ground!

You have to be kidding about De Gois over Farah - Robbie didn't have a graet game but he did throw a beautiful cut out pass to put Fulton in and cleverly kicked the winning FG - he definitely did have a brain explosion in the last 5 mins of regular time by running from dummy half on the 5th whhen a FG was on and also going for 40/20 in the dying minutes - but overall he is a class above DeGois.

Anyone who thinks Farah is close to Smith on current form should nit be judging footballers. Smith is he best hooker i have seen bar none and Robbie isnt in the top ten in the NRL on current form. Someone needs to teach Robbie that sometimes less is more.

This excuse has been going on for years. He simply needs to rebuild his game. I have noticed that the hog kicks in the opposition 20 are getting less and less but they need to stop.
