I can see so much upside with AJ as others have articulated. BJ a seasoned player is where I hold concerns about. Sticky obviously saw him as weak link at the Raiders and now he is our problem to solve.

He's 28? Move him on to the UK. I'd rather see Kepaoa at right centre making rookie mistakes than Leilua making the same dumb mistakes he has made all his career.

Do you think it is really that simple as punching a TRADE Rage button..simply move a player with a young family to an environment the UK in Covid times where even extra cash which use to be an incentive no longer exists..

Leilua was also a Maguire signing ..brought specifically by Maguire to strengthen a weakness on decent coin..not in the not his team category..

Doesn't it concern you we have a player who makes the same mistakes repeatedly? He has been an absolutely disastrous buy? Would you rather have his contract money spent on Staines it Burton?

It does and was mentioned at the time of signing..

But I'm not Maguire who recruited Leilua

I appreciate that but the UK ESL would have bubbles just like the NRL.

Maybe if that idiot "Ball player" we have, that won't have his contract renewed would actually give BJ some decent ball, in fact any ball, BJ might actually show you and a few others that he is worth having.

Maybe if that same guy actually tackled a few players, the people outside him would have to come in and cause an overlap.

Is it just because BJ is not a local junior or your love for Benji - causing you to dislike him so much and can't see what is going on Paws.

Leilua is a lazy player very happy to let other players do the work for him. He doesn't want to, or is simply incapable of learning from past mistakes. This is in addition to those willing to tolerate his 'brain explosions' which are more akin to those babies learning to walk in a walker. Ricky got rid of him and just because we are WTs he should be tolerated?

agree -- lazy at times but he does have the talent... reminds me of Tony Williams... unstoppable when they do decide to play

Mikaele looks injured and we need to remember his age and the fact they have not had a break since the resumption of the season, so little time to mend properly. He looked gassed early on Saturday evening and is more an impact player rather than a starter in my opinion. I thought Zane Musgrove went well and lifted the aggression in his first game back. Looks like he enjoyed the hit ups against the big Storm pack

Maguire knows that the tree needs pruning before the next season, and he could have ripped out the dead wood with his bare hands, BUT he knows that he needs to do it diligently with a pruner and also to not get stung by the bees, and WHEN most of the dead wood has been cleared THEN you can see the BEAUTY of the new growth and the MIGHT of the TIGERS.

I needed to read this.
Thanks champion @FinestTigers .

I know many will disagree but for me Matt Moylan is a better fullback than anything we have at the moment.
From reports Cronulla is willing to offload with +50% freight included. If we could organise a Mbye trade we could offer 2 year deal. I would take a risk .......
Anyway my thoughts for next year and beyond

Moses Mbye (Matt Moylan who covers quite a few backline positions would be my pick if we can get a trade deal)
Josh Aldo Carr
Adam Doueihi
Joseph Leilua (Kotoni Stagg should be the player we go after as 2021 replacement)
DescriptionDescription(Kotoni Stagg should be replacement at end of next season)
David Nofoaluma
Josh Reynolds (Matt Burton if we can offload Reynolds OR not ..... we should go all out for this guy .... future is as a ball playing lock forward)
Luke Brooks
James Tamou (c)
Jason Liddle (Harry Grant If Smith plays on for one more year and retireS when Bellamy leaves)
Zane Musgrove
Sam McIntyre
Luciano Leilua
Shawn Blore

Josh Aloiai
Russell Packer (Jack Hetherington (if we can offload Packer)
Thomas Mikaele
Alex Twal
Stefano Utoikamanu
Jake Simpkin
Luke Garner (Bunty Afoa from Warriors would be good replacement if Garner leaves)
Michael Chee Kam (Tukimihia Simpkins from Cowboys is an upgrade if we can move MCK)
Tommy Talau
Jock Madden
Asu Kepaoa
Billy Walters
Paul Momirovski
Zac Cini
Kane Bradley
William Kei
One available spot ???

Development Contract
Reece Hoffman

Moylan said no last year when sharpies tried to offload him to the tigers. I doubt the sentiment has changed

Seriously not Moylan please!!!
Think Kei and Cini will be on development contracts for 2021 which means there are possibly 3 spots available in NRL squad, if noone else on that list moves on.

He seems a very half hearted player to me plus he seems to be injured much of the time

isn't he a coca cola addict + all the panthers players were over the moon when he left. Apparently a complete door handle

I don’t think he said no , he wanted a kings ransom and we laughed at him. Looks like we wanted him at a decent coin

Moylan is an average player who’s nearing the end of his career and he can’t stay on the field. Big no thanks
