Buchanan is a loss for our NSW Cup side, especially with Keef and Lodge gone. Graham, Grant, Tatola and Felise all have talent, but surely they'd want a bit more time.
You'd think Marty and Sue would move to the front row, or if Edwards shows enough he'd spend time there too.

I give him two years at easts til an incident at the Coogee Bay has him off to either the Gold Coast, or to Catalan if it was really serious.

Have never gotten the love for Lodge.
Happy with the list of departures but it would have been good for the long term success of the club for Farah also to be added to the list.
Lodge has so much talent but appears a totally dropkick. If only these guys could appreciate at the time they are getting paid huge money for some they love whilst their friends and school mates are only earning a fraction of the dollars. Sad when you think about it.

I can't see any of these guys coming back to haunt us much in the future.
I don't think Lodge has faced court yet on his current crop of charges.
Happy to let him go , zero tolerance if guilty of assaulting and stalking his gf.
If his innocent i'm happy to back Melbourne's decision and know its not worth it especially given he has had 2 previous issues with us.
I'm not fussed with the other players we have released. GL to them all.

If Lodge goes on to be a superstar, so be it. He's shown me nothing to suggest he's up to the hype some build him to be though.
Just saw the Souths signed Michael Oldfield from Catalans. He'd have been handy for our backline.

Oldfield is only 24 and can play wing and centre. Hunt is alright, but 27 and only played about 25 games in 4 or 5 years.

I think Dallas Graham is one of those players who improves incrementally each year and will again step up to become and an important high workrate prop for the squad. From all reports, he has a very good attitude and work ethic which I like.

With Lodge and Buchanan gone it leaves us light in backups. Jordan Grant would probably be next cab off the ranks, or possibly Fiagatusa, with Dallas Graham and JJ Felise in behind them. But then I think we'll sign more forwards for the nsw cup side so there'll probably be one or two more by next season.
young grant is a big strong boy, and he will be bigger next season , after another pre season, he just needs to avoid injury next year. he has a great motor and a great attitude. his mate graham also has all of the above. expect to see both get a go in the NRL side during the year. the 2 boys in the NYC felise and tatloa will be ready this time next year and bothe look great prospects.
