Des Hasler to leave the Bulldogs

I watched the Dogs and Eels game last night and thought to myself no wonder the Dogs are getting slammed in the media at the moment, they played terrible and only had small patches in which they looked like an NRL team…that club has very big problems from within and will be copping plenty still...It appears they have no good attacking structure and mostly look lost when in possesion of the ball..Des maybe on the way out even if he did extend his contract this year..
They have some very good players but they don't seem to have a positive direction in their game...could it be bad coaching or are the players not gelling together as a team....don't like them but it's sad to see a team with talented players and good coach apparently, going as bad as they are..

Basically you earn good press through good results and you cop bad press when you turn in bad results. Some teams seem to be immune from bad press, but the Dogs and the Rabbits will be the soft targets for a while and if we continue to put in good 80 minute efforts we should escape the crap press

Interesting times at the Bulldogs.
Nice stable club
This taken from the NRL website, today.

Bulldogs Chairman Ray Dib spoke about the decision:

"Today, I informed Des Hasler and his management of our decision to pursue a new Head Coach for our Club, effective immediately.

Have to laugh at the irony of the situation given Woods was critical of the Tigers not being a stable club. He's stepped on a landmine going to the Dogs. As for Dessie, well he can take his encyclopedia of statistics which apparently shows Aiden Tolman as being the best prop in the game and have a lie down for a bit.

i reckon michael potter could be really good at titans

Dessy could be great at warriors. NRL will try to do a lot to get him there IMO

Back to the beach for Dessie. Actually think it will add some life back into the Bulldogs. Their fans will be rejoicing.
