His expecting this governance change to really ruffle some feathers and impact the teams performance throughout the season.
Word was all the players and a couple of high profile players have publicly backed the old board and Ray Dib.
There’s going to be a coming power struggle between the football club and the leagues club the loss of Dib will mean the loss of certain corporate support and league governance power.
Change may necessarily be a good thing this time around.

Who else saw Mortimer add a stack of Grit to our team when he was personal trainer. I think he came in 2011, either way he seemed to do a stack to build the young guys up. Not sure if he still had the enthusiasm and had it for our team, but I felt he was an asset.

Poor Aaron

The bulldogs were 100% in firing Raelene and firing their board. The aim was totally wrong, sure get yourself to the finals but do it the way Manly did and build a strong club. Don't build a flight lounge. I get that James Graham was a little past his prime and that Reynolds may have not been the exact direction the bulldogs were heading in. But team clubs keep their average to good players and build around them, flight decks move in superstars.

The old board made decisions that look bad in hindsight, like renewing Haslier's contract then firing him (not that we haven't done that before), but I get that they needed coach stability. Their real failing is not recognising the importance of Culture and club spirit over rushing to the finals at any cost.

Clubs last hundreds of years, a finals appearance is 1\. Don't neglect your membership and swap away club heroes.

He was here from 2009-2011... I thought his impact was positive.
