Did we dodge the bullet

well thats simple. Who do you rate a better team these days - Cronulla or Wests.

About even. It will be a close game when we play the Sharks. I agree with OP, Luke Lewis hasn't really hit his straps yet but no doubt he is a good player, probably not worth what was paid for him though TBH.

Who do you rate better, Storm or Eels? What's that, storm are better? Well then, guess junior moors is far better than hayne and sandow.

Leave Junior alone

I would like to reserve my decision on the matter until the conclusion of the ASADA report, and Im half guessing that Lewis probably would as well.

He went well last week… Dented the line with a few runs at speed. You need to remember how little footy he has played in the last 6 months.

I wasn't to fussed on getting him for his asking price, but he is still a handy footballer.

Yea I haven't been to impressed with him of late until the game against the dragons. He was breaking the line alot and was off loading a tonne. I'd still have him just for his experience.

Its not a simply yes or no….but fact is Lewis wasn't in a position we needed to sink ~$450k into.

So yes, in that regard we are lucky we didn't sign him.

Do you know how much we paid for Anasta? Much more than you'd expect, from what I hear…

400k for 2 years - so in essence 200k/year - I've heard it from both the newspaper, and someone working hand in hand with the club.

Thats cheap in my opinion.

Unless Anasta fails miserably to live up to the standards of a halfback/five-eigth in our next couple of games than you can't say whether Anasta would have been a more worse buy than Lewis

Did we dodge the bullet by missing out on Luke Lewis? He has not done anything for the Sharks yet.
