Stiff-arming a bloke of the ball… complete madness. Edwards probably had it coming but there’s no respect or defence when it’s off the ball like that. That’s Danny Williams territory.

It was nothing like that though. It was just stupid. Danny Williams king Mark O'Neill from behind. If BJ had done a hard coat hanger Edwards would have been hurt.

Edwards is a grub. You can see other teams don't like him. Our issues is we let it get to us on more than one occasion.

I'd like to see BJ in the backfield with Edwards in front of him...

My only comment on this matter is Brooks did the right thing. Gagai had it coming.

If the opportunity with Gagai arises again I hope Brooks grabs the opportunity with Madges blessing

"With Madge's blessing"...yes, otherwise...no.

face slapping in the sheds before the game- that should fire them up- id lke to see that!

A bit of face slapping at the match revue committee - I'd love to see that.

Memo to Tigers re discipline:

1. Don’t knock the ball down late in the tackle count giving your opponent six again
2. Don’t dive head long onto a loose ball knocking it on and giving the opponent six again
3. Don’t try a flying karate kick when diving on a loose ball is the correct play ( oh wait he’s gone)
4. A clothes line is for your laundry
5. If you look a bit like a garden gnome you probably aren’t the best bluer

The BJ one was interesting. There was malice in it but no force.

If BJ went in with force, Edwards wouldn't have been grinning at him.

Stupid but I think BJ half pulled out so wasn't really that dangerous.

I'm proud that the Wests Tigers have never been known as a grubby side. I hope we destroy every opposition in a totally legal way.
Also, signing Aussie Jim and making him Capt is a great move in that he would have a good rapport with the refs and this should go a long way to endearing them to us and not copping the stinky end of the stick as often as we do.

Sorry but I don't think we're signing Gammy Smith...?

Ask Joey Johns about Jamie Goddard.

How about when our blokes are bashed or intimidated, hit high, late, off the ball...... and there's no retaliation?
I'm sick of and not proud of seeing that

It made me sick when Ryan James broke Teddy's jaw and not one player went after revenge.
I know what Blocker, Ned Kelly, or Dallas would have done to him.

Douehi, was extremely unlucky as from the vision the Parramatta winger initiated the contact by changing direction to avoid going into touch. The winger Cleary steps of his left leg and drives into Douehi! It was in my opinion a classic situation where yes, a shoulder charge occurred but it was brought about by the attacking player - the ref and video ref did not take the game situation into account

I'm totally with you on that one. That's what's been so frustrating over the years, to see it happen blatantly with little or no repercussions.
But I don't think we should ever lower our standards and sink to low-level thuggery or grubbery.
We all know we've lacked mongrel for too long so I'd love to see our coaching staff instill the same fight/killer instinct into our current group to the point that oppositions know they're gonna be sore for days after taking us on.
I'm not a violent man, I just wanna see us bashing up other people for a change too.

I agree wasn't a deliberate shoulder charge he was only protecting himself, it's Parramatta we're talking about. Nothing went our way that night, and we procrastinated towards the end

Same here. I'm not violent. I just want to see the Tigers players smash every other team into a pulp.

Hear hear. Our historical inability to do this is why bottom 4 sides highlight us in their draw.

Maybe they figured he was just paying it forward. Play on.
