Also, signing Aussie Jim and making him Capt is a great move in that he would have a good rapport with the refs and this should go a long way to endearing them to us and not copping the stinky end of the stick as often as we do.

How about when our blokes are bashed or intimidated, hit high, late, off the ball...... and there's no retaliation?

yep....there was lots of little things from them all throughout the game,lots of niggly illegalities that the ref let go...we copped it and copped it and they gave it to us right at f/t and still nothing

It's the most disappointing thing for me - along with looking totally lost and rudderless at times - that we don't stand up for ourselves OR OUR TEAMMATES!

We showed yesterday that we can compete with the good teams. We need to do it for 80 minutes rather than switching off 50-60.

We went well until Garner conceded the dumb penalty on the 5th then concede a try & the kickoff goes out on the full. That’s where we fell apart, and ill discipline.

The referee coach has not helped us one iota. Those penalties yesterday were so dumb - especially garner.

What a difference yesterday was! Scored off an attacking kick. No conceding 7 tackle sets. Forced goalline dropouts. Forced turnovers. 4/4 goalkicks. Only one out on the full restart which led to a try. The Tigers we know.
