Back to court I guess or is it all too late to bother

Hawke served an ace. There is no way a court can save him before his scheduled first round match on Monday. What odds Tennis Australia reshedule his matches. Or as he is playing another Serbian he wins his first round on a forfeit. This circus ain't over yet.

I predicted they would wait until it is too late to appeal and still play. They can’t reschedule his match - tennis tournaments have tight schedules.

Unless his opponent forfeits.

Departmental/procedural “is” dotted and “ts” crossed this time you’d think, surely?

It's a legal issue and the ruling already went his way. I hope he doesn't play though.

From what I know, previously having COVID (within 90 days of travel) exempts you from having to do a PCR test, not exempt from vaccination. If you're unvaccinated, but have been granted a visa, you must go into 14 day mandatory isolation.

Not sure why the visa was cancelled though. Maybe the 14 day isolation is only for residents of the country and not for non-residents.

Just want to click on his file at work but don’t wanna get fired!

There are so many cases that garner media attention that get preferential treatment though

Yes, as I alluded to earlier, there are many in similar circumstances to that of Djokovic that have been allowed entry.

Such duplicity is little doubt at the forefront of this decision delay.

Exactly what I’d been referring to above

Some not so bright people expressing opinion.

You are the one getting your posts deleted pal.
Keep the emotion out of it and try again.

Bahaha deleted it myself you chump ?

Sounds like you know a bit about it, Scott Morrison isn’t trusted by the general public here and it seems to knot your panties.

The problems associated with omicron have been travelling at the speed of light,
The emergence of omicron was believe or not only a few weeks ago, and since then the attitude of our govt. towards this variant of concern (VOC) has been like what i would call similar to an Arsonists, it would be like a naive immature child lighting a match and throwing it in to the bush just to see what would happen.

And we can all see now what has happened, a crisis of shortage of food and workers.

But Unbelievably amongst this major crisis our Scomo is still able to spend and dedicate a lot of time to deal with a matter that concerns a tennis player?

Now, i'm certain that if Djokovic was not Djokovic but was one of Scomo's favourite footy players then none of us would have heard so much of this nonsense.

Besides Djokovic winning his case, Scomo knows that if we were to count all of the dec forms which have the wrong boxes ticked, they would be in the thousands and millions.

Scomo wasting precious time, the judge has said Djokovic is not a problem, the judge says we have a food and workers crisis.

Another great post @FinestTigers
Novax apparently knowingly did the wrong thing by 'supposedly' allowing one of his managers to fill out his exemption form.
Yeh righto...what a lot of bull imo.
If the dummy cant take responsibility for filling out the 'important' paperwork and then blaming his manager for the incorrect/untruthful information, that should be enough to have him booted out of Oz.
If someone gets stopped with a bag full of drugs trying to get into Oz and they try the... I didnt pack my bag so I know nothing about the drugs story...sorry but you are in big trouble.
It's called personal responsibility and he has shown us he is a liar and a 'dill brain' imo.

Correct me if I'm wrong but He wasn't gaining any benefit by not declaring that he went to Spain or wherever. Bringing drugs into a country and not declaring that you went to a country (which as far as I'm aware has no restrictions) are not comparable at all.

The disease can kill you so yes, I put him the same boat as a murderer. Should go to gaol at Parklea with Haynesy

What a ludicrous post. Sums this up...

What is ludicrous is taking the most extreme opinion in the thread & saying "it sums it up" for you

The political climate... Not defending Novak in any way so what’s up your arse ?

Wasn’t serving anybody but you asked for it and going off your clearly premature conclusion around my comment, can’t take it in return?

Hahaha settle petal
Now. I see why you had a go at me in another thread.
Pretty petty

Kick him out, ban him for 3 years and let him know he's not welcome here with his misguided views. Dhead

I work @DHA and work closely with Hawke (mainly his DLO) will be interesting to see what his office decides. Problem is staff could be working on more pertinent national issues but have been bogged down by this…

Our taxes…

**That’s the sad part about the whole thing**, it’s a waste of our resources.

Personally I think the guy shouldn’t be here however he was granted a visa originally, met the requirements he was told he had to meet, and won an appeal after his visa was revoked. Just move on from it all he’s not a national security threat.

Hopefully he gets knocked out early but he’ll there for the semis at least.

Nah, the sad thing is that these clowns in govt. draw out the timeline between an event and a decision so they can make their determination based on their perception of the popularity of their choice. And their leader can look down the camera with his smug flog face and blatantly flat out lie about anything and everything.

Hate to say it but I think you are right.

The past is an indication, Djokojic will use his recent court victory as his weapon.

All this drama because the knob won't get vaccinated.

He’d still have to be available to play. If he’s in detention he’s not available

He can just get an urgent injunction to preserve the status quo pending an appeal. That could be heard by a duty judge on the weekend.
