Do we have anymore funds for a big name player?

With the continuous rapid rumours of the Tigers being linked to player after player and the fast start to recruitment for next year, I'm trying to come to terms with the amount of money we'd have avaliable.

2018 signings

Chris McQueen - 400k
Ben Matulino - 475 k
Josh Reynolyds - 700k
Russell Packer - 600 k
Greg Eastwood - 350 k
Tui Lolohea - 430k
Mane Fonua - 250 k?

Not all confirmed, but all very likley. I don't think we'd have any more money to sign anymore players.

We have 750 k from Farah, 600k from Moses, 300 k from Simona, Woods 650 k, tedesco 650k, Siro 250k

The money from Farah, simona and Siro were all added to the offers of Teddy, Moses and Woods.

Tedesco reported 1.1 offer

Woods 900k

Moses was told he wasn't a priority, but there was an offer of around 800-900 k at one stage.

2.8 mil from three players! How proud I am of Ivan that we dodged that bullet, plus the raising of the cap to 9.3 mil, I'm pretty sure the cap is 7 mil now, so a 2.3 mil differentiation.

5.1 mil, but the squad expands to thrity.

So I'd say 4.3 mil remaining.

So far if all rumours are true we've spent 3.2 mil

1.1 mil remaning?

Just come clarification would be nice, or am I way off with the whole theory?
 
Meh, who knows. With all this third party crap there will never be clarity.

Thank God we haven't signed Eastwood and hopefully never will.
 
We've still got half a cap to play with, so naturally we do. The question is though, what big name do you want? The market is gradually drying up.

Well him agreeing to play Sunday's brings his price up, and I don't think Doggies can afford to give him a hefty raise after the signings of Woods and Foran. They're looking at unloading players and Hopa is looking likely to be one of them
 
We have plenty of funds, there just aren't many big name players around worth a decent amount. Soon we will be chasing Nate Myles on a multi year contract
