No thanks. He's shown his true colours over the past 6 months. The fact he's "allegedly" even considering switching his mind and possibly resigning solely due to the fact the NRL rejected the Rooster's TPAs is truly disgusting. Tedesco didn't take a "$700k paycut" to join the Roosters, it's just most of his salary is stashed away within TPA's. Money was a big influence on Tedesco's decision, because if he really cared about being part of a winning team & culture he would not have allowed this saga to drag on for so long (affecting our results on field) and would take a paycut with the Tigers which would allow us to use further money to buy other players in important positions and allow for Tedesco to really get a chance to be within a winning team (if he truly didn't care about the money).
Tedesco is a great player, but unfortunately, we need to let him go. On the bright side, the less influence Isaac Moses has on this team the better. We are now able to build a well-rounded team using the 3's money, which under former management was wasted on "potential". Think about it, there are 12 other teams doing better than us on the ladder, none of which have their own "Tedesco" but have well-rounded teams. What's the point of having a superstar in Tedesco at fullback, whilst also having players like Kevin Naiqama and Jordan Rankin alongside him (no offence, but these players are past their best).
