Does Blair know how to run ?

I am getting sick of that shuffle shuffle shuffle look at me I can hold the ball above my head OK tackle me now routine.
 
His problem, in my opinion, is that before he even gets the ball he is thinking about offloads and spinning in the tackle. He needs to just bash it up and if the opportunity presents itself THEN look to do more.

I agree! Have you noticed how he puts the brakes on before he gets close to a tackler? Or am I imagining it? Exactly what has he done so far?

You could be right but someone better tell him Billy Slater doesn't play for us.
 
He is just not worth the money we paid for him… He is just a regular first grader nothing more.

Topped the tackle counts , made over 100 meters which was second only to woods -wasn't perfect but one of our best tonight

But he isnt even getting the offload away…actually he doesnt look close to getting decent 2nd phase play happening.

Remeber when u were young and every team had a big strong kid who had talent but just looked scared and would stop and not run hard??? We that looks like our current international 2nd rower.....i cant work it out :crazy

I thought he was good tonight. Was desperate in D and fairly busy in attack.
 
How big is he? I thought he was bought to play on the edges? Maybe he is just doing what the coach wants him to do

Blair is the least of our concerns from tonights game. Had a real dig in both attack and defence which was good to see.

He might not be getting the offloads away but he is always looking for one the deciding against it.

Blair knows how to run , but we have no idea how to support him in anyway, shape or form

At one stage in the first half when we were close to the line and Blair gets his hands free, players actually run away from him

Puts too many nuff hits on. Just tackle the bloke. Stop trying to be a hero and put on a big shot. What happened to tackling around the legs?

Yep. His performances this year have been terrible however I thought he was good tonight.
 
I've been on both sides of the fence this yearn with Blair but i think i am siding with the notion that the team is letting him down not vice versa.

He never has support in defence or attack, that is not his fault.
 
Thought he played his best game for us tonight in attack. Defence is still a worry but is slowly showing improvement.
