I agree! Have you noticed how he puts the brakes on before he gets close to a tackler? Or am I imagining it? Exactly what has he done so far?

Yea I have noticed that too I think heigno and Blair have been giving each other tips on what to do when they come to the other teams defense line

He knows how to jog? Does that count?

He will be dropped at some point. I can't imagine the middle management covering for him for much longer. The big issue I see is do wests go all Jennings and try to get him to quit or do they just buy out his contact. Either way he adds nothing apart from a black hole on the cap

Did you even watch the game tonight? He was one of our best for sure

Also I would like to point out, it isn't his fault that we paid so much for him

Blair wasn't to blame tonight. His work rate was good. Seems to me he is playing too tight at the moment. Probably because we are short a third good prop.

At best Blair is an average first grade player. Once in a while he'll have a decent enough game, but on the whole he is average. There's no way he is playing like the back rower I thought he'd be. Maybe he is doing what the coach is asking of him, and if that's the case then fine. But I'm fairly certain any coach would be wanting his back rowers hitting the line at pace, not tap dancing up to the defence.

My thoughts on him are he has not met the expectations of the signing and I reckon he's been mostly a disappointment this year. Maybe I was just expecting too much from him.

He is certainly not value for money in the salary cap, and that is my biggest issue with him.

His problem, in my opinion, is that before he even gets the ball he is thinking about offloads and spinning in the tackle. He needs to just bash it up and if the opportunity presents itself THEN look to do more.

But he isnt even getting the offload away…actually he doesnt look close to getting decent 2nd phase play happening.

Remeber when u were young and every team had a big strong kid who had talent but just looked scared and would stop and not run hard??? We that looks like our current international 2nd rower.....i cant work it out

He probably was our best forward tonight, the reason for the shuffle is so he gets between defenders and as a result he gets the consistently fastest play the balls in the team, rarely gets driven back or dominated!
If he just bashed it up then he would be like heighny, that's not what we need!

Your are kidding, he is getting better each week, he had a massive game last night. His value to the club would be not only what he does onfield but also off it. We have a great nursery with plenty of talent but attitude is just as or even more important. I believe he is a great buy & one we will reap the rewards from for years to come. I can't wait for another we shouldn't have got rid of Gibbs & Fajita thread to start.

Blairs problem is Tim Sheens ,Sheens is doing to him what he has done to the rest of the side.Watch Blair play under Bellamy then post your thoughts!

I think that this is the way we will view this signing at the end of his time with us. He isn't a great player plain and simple. He is an average first grader maybe a little above average but he is in the same group of players such as Fulton and Heighno. Fulton might be a better player.

This year he has been poor with the occasional decent game. I thought he was good against the dogs but he needs to do that consistently. That level is also nowhere near a player like Ellis having an average game.

He was great last night, quick play the balls, good sharp runs and in defense tackled well and slowed the play the ball down by turtling the tackled player and he has been doing it for most of the year. People should get off his back and actually watch what he is doing

I agree, ALWAYS hits the brakes before the line!
