I am a fan of his but tonight was a shocker. I think his past origin. Some of Rickys selections are hard to understand. He didnt pick Hayne in game one as Dugan was fullback and wouldnt pick Hayne out of position on wing. Dugan gets injured and he picks Mini at fullback and Hayne on wing. NSW wont win a series when an average first grade player like Kurt Gidley can make your team

He dropped the ball about 4 or 5 times….....terrible for a fullback.
Let in a try that was 100% his fault.
Let a grubber go straight past him into the in goal, then got tackled giving them another set of six when most fullbacks would have attacked the ball.
Seriously, he made more mistakes than anyone and u want to say he was no worse than the rest???/

He wasnt as bad as you make out.
It's hard to blame Minichiello in the sense that he did the best he could behind a beaten team and having to face a massive Qld tidal wave, can be lonely out the back on your own, not an enviable job for anyone, in any case he should not have been picked in the first place, another example of the fine selections of Stuart and Bozo..

Pretty poor tonight unfortunately. Gidley looked dangerous a couple of times, but he made a couple of fumbles and Gasnier was again quiet. NSW were never in it after having to defend so much in the first half.
