Or has someone already thought of that. It'd work well

The Tigers would happily subsidise. He wouldn't be expensive at all

If that was the case , and we had to pay most of his contract, there's not much use in him leaving is there.
If we don't end up with a bag full of money, why get rid of the best hooker we have?
And you are forgetting that he signed to be here until the end of his contract, and has the right to do that if he wants to.
It's his decision where he lives and plays.

I'm talking half his contract and the benefits are pretty obvious to me and most on this forum.

Of course he has the rights to stay. Taylor also has a contract and has rights to bench him or play him in new cup if he wants . Particularly if he continues to create distabiling media articles.

Back on topic, would love for the dogs to take him.

We have been through this a thousand times. I can only think of one direct media article by Farah a few weeks ago as a backgrounder for SOO, just factual, honest and understandable. The team has worked well this year. Taylor has not demoted Farah once so that was obviously only a bluff to get Robbie to leave. So Robbie took any offer that was around, the Roosters maybe a 100K - but then Taylor backed off. So it was Taylor or his team or management that created the fuss that they could not deliver on.

And why do they want Robbie to leave - just to escape the back loading that helped the Club out in earlier years. Robbie, for his age, is still training diligently and always a top player so he has kept his side of the agreement.

So after the aftermath of Origin and what has been written about the key leadership group you really need to keep harping on why the club wants to rid itself of Farah ..
Farah had been asked to move on so the club can move on simple ,this is yes something that happens in life and if you think Farah has the best intentions for the club you would be very mistaken.
Obviously the club will not be able to retain ET as in the paper this morning stated he could be looking at a third club ,when this happens I can assure you the sentiment for Farah will disappear very quickly ..
Farah will get his money , money is not the issue I feel if he stays it will be to put the boot into the club ,this team will not move forward until he is gone .The best signing the club has made for years looks like walking and I wonder why that is .

How can ET signing with another club have anything to do with Farah? What a lload of rubbish. ET came to the club for an opportunity he got it If he leaves it will be ET looking after his own best interests

ET,is possibly one of the best signings this club has made since Ellis,Farah staying would restrict the salary cap, therefore making it difficult to offer a good amount to ET….that is how I see it.....if it was my call I would do everything I could to give ET at least 2 more year
......with or without Farah being here......

Do you have a reference or link for this article?

Our whole recruitment and retention for 2017 is hinged around Farah. Obviously if he stays than we basically have what we have now minus Taylor and maybe a couple of others and if he goes than we are in a position to offer the likes of Taylor a new deal.

Of course if he retires his contract money will still come of the cap unless it is a forced retirement due to injury as in Whatmoughs case at Parra.

One thing is a 100% certain we need Taylor ( ET that is) if this team is going to make the next step so Interesting times ahead with Farah holding all the aces.

ET is far too important to let go. Some creative contracting needed. Not stupidly like we did a few years ago but we need to retain him. He shapes up like a Todd Payten for us.

See here's the difference - I think money has very little to do with this.

Yuo want to read why the roosters deal fell through - http://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/robbie-farahs-proposed-sydney-roosters-move-killed-by-jake-friend/news-story/bb02fb424523916cf75e69bcc70d1955\. Nothing to do with Taylor.

JT and the club could have been 'honest and factual' about Robbie in the media, but they are trying to do the right thing.

If he wanted to move on ,he could have done that years ago, for probably more money. He had reasons for staying, the club signed to that agreement. there was no clause saying that the figures for the last two years were negotiable.
He is doing what he committed himself to.
He owes the club nothing. end of story.
But just because a couple of club fans get a bee in their shorts here, hes supposed to move to Belmore, England, Kogarah,or anywhere in the known world, just to keep you happy.
Sorry guys but you may as well stop whingeing and just have to suck it up.
A lot of us ,and obviously the majority of WTs supporters (if their reaction to Farah at the games
is any indication )are happy that hes here, and we dont have to put up with makeshift hookers .

A lot of people want Taylor gone as well, both things are about the same chance in the near future Fa

Hahahaha what garbage.
I hope Thurston likes Townsville cause he's stuck there

Im sure that means something , just cant see what

Yeah not surprised you need assistance
If no one can afford faff… How can anyone afford JT, the games highest paid

The thing is GCT & BBF , there's more than one way to skin a cat.
Face it… He's unwanted... Except by LOLrie Daley

The sarcasm is going well today
Ok I should have said it plainer, so you could have understood , no one could afford him under their cap restrictions, Easts made enquiries, but their hooker threw a wobbly in the press ( and I don't blame him)
Reports have said that Leeds apparently would have been happy to get him, but anyway he'd already said that he wouldn't go to SL
I would think that Thurston would have been in the same boat for the rest of this year, maybe Gold Coast could have fitted him in, but then again Parra could have probably fitted him under theirs.theyre good at that. :unamused:

Every person I have spoken to in this area of NRL territory appreciate him and think that WT were wrong in trying to oust him. And overall it is not the bongy type who follow rugby league.

.
You're right, but he would really look a fool to play the SOO hooker there, and play a P Plate hooker in first grade for half a season, and still pay Farah 900,000 for the season.
It would be Taylors neck on the block if it backfired on him , as the plan to replace Farah with
Ballin did.

Do a quick poll around LO, and you might get a vastly different result
