Doueihi is the WEAKEST LINK

If we should be 2/3 and our pack gave us enough opportunities to win most of our games so far, I'd consider that very good. The attack is diabolical.
It was the Titans poor discipline that saw us dominate possession and territory. Titans still easily outperformed us in metres per run, PCMs and play the ball speed, all the stats that indicate who is winning the physical battle. Knights and Dogs were about even. Neither are likely to be top 8 sides and both down on troops. Not sure how you equate that to very good. The attack being diabolical is a seperate matter to the pack not (yet at least) proving their worth.

I will be so annoyed if Sheens picks Doueihi at fullback today. His form this year has been deplorable, he didn't cut it the last time he played in the position and he looked hopeless when playing there on Sunday. Additionally, Sheens needs to make a statement by dropping AD, thereby sending a message that poor effort and form will not not be tolerated.

Our pack has been very disciplined and we've had plenty of good ball in good territory. That isn't how most of our games went last year. We were constantly getting rolled up the middle against every team. It's an improvement imo

exactly all good having cash but spend on the right players and players who actually want to come to the club
The two that have long service discounts on the cap are nofo and Brooks so salary cap management comes in to it.
I still think we will get Moses and that will come with re-signing Brooks.
We then have Staines not on the books for 2024 and Laurie.
You then try and move on nofo
Therefore 2024 we could well have a spine of
1. AD
6. Brooks
7. Moses
9. Api
If AD is in the spine in 2024, the Tigers are DOOMED.

That all comes down to the one single factor terrible coaching.I am not excusing AD either he needs time in reggies not another positional change

I don't think so, wakeham had less preseason and has showed mass improvement.

Accountability needs to be put on the players you either have it or you don't.

AD played ok against the Titans - some real good individual things but it's the combination with Brooks that is not effective for the team and what ever they are doing at training is not gelling for the squad in the game- coaching - or the players - or both.
I can't see the coach not persisting with both of them - although if AD is carrying injury after last week's debacle perfect time to leave him out - some players can carry injuries and play - he clearly can not.

Get ready to be annoyed then.

All halves have looked awful for the Dogs since Des left. You never know with Wakeham he could finally realise his potential here.
This is what we need, to get lucky with a couple of so-called reject type players that finally work it out. Like Wakeham maturing, Staines talking, Naden stops the stupid errors, Stef gets some form back, Simpkin becomes a gun.
That just became a wish list.

Doueihi's biggest problem is himself. He wants to be a ball playing organising 6. Gee, the guy even said 6 or 7, how on earth can he think he could play 7?

Until he realises he is a runner first, no matter where plays he is no chance of succeeding. Run run run, and I'm sure his ball playing will improve off the back of that. He is definitely a player that is getting in his own way and costing himself badly. He needs some stern words from the coaching staff and also probably from someone outside the club that is respected to make him realise what he wants to be and what he can be are 2 different things.

As for fullback, I'm more open minded then others. I'm not saying for a second you can put him in the Tommy Turbo category, but watching Tom dominates running at half pace makes me think Doueihi can be effective if he has the right attitude. AD purely thinking "I'm going to play physical in everything I do" will not only play to the strength of his running game, it could really unlock him. But it has to come from within him.

He doesn't deserve to stay in the team, but he will, so I think fullback is worth a shot again provided his assignment is clear....run run run.
