So is Madge admitting his training methods of the past are wrong ??? Again??? as he said he had learnt from his time at the Bunnies after he had signed with us ???

The players have said they’re still training at very high intensity, it’s not really ‘relaxed training’ despite what the headline says, sounds like they’re just trying to have a little more time off and make better use of their breaks when they can

Less meetings ......Madge and his Uncle Brian Smith are known to have more meetings than the AJC

Again you could see the players looked mentally and physically drained the week before the Warriors games ..but the coach took 2 more weeks to notice it ...one injury cost us the one player who may have got us to the semis ......

All the other big teams can handle the training. Boys just didn’t show up on the field, every single week they all talk about how good training is but it’s not showing up on the field, it’s more mental than anything, hence ‘less meetings’.

No not all the coaches ..they manage the loads better ...The Storm and Roosters lessen the load and then ramp it up again with about 6-8 weeks left ...funnily enough most rugby league clubs train players like Olympic swimmers .....hard off season lighten off before trials ramp up big before the Olympics and then back off again just before Olympics

Plenty of players have said it’s no tougher than any other club they’ve been at. It’s no excuse, the players went out there and didn’t have a dig that’s on them.

We’ve had games like that for the last 10 years, rock up against teams we should beat and don’t look like we’re even trying. No matter what coach we’ve had that’s happened.

Again, training isn’t any less intense, they’re training just as much at a high intensity, just trying to make better use of their off time and if there’s a longer turnaround between games have one session that’s a little relaxed. No major different to actual training

The whole team had one of those games, I’ve seen it a million times before, don’t do anything all game and try win it with 5 minutes left and score points then. . Those three were still our best players but it was a vintage tigers performance

In the ten days spent in Beijing former Olympian Usain Bolt ate 1000 chicken nuggets
Nuggets ate the answer to maintain peak mental and physical performance..

Just like putting up bombs in wooded areas in order to be the best under a high ball .

It is different ....must clubs now are ramping up their training loads ...madge is lightening up the load now

Tell me I was wrong ...we looked cooked v the Warriors

We’ve had games like that for the last 10 years, rock up against teams we should beat and don’t look like we’re even trying. No matter what coach we’ve had that’s happened.

Again, training isn’t any less intense, they’re training just as much at a high intensity, just trying to make better use of their off time and if there’s a longer turnaround between games have one session that’s a little relaxed. No major different to actual training

So Aloiai , Grant ,Lucy , didn't have their worst games of the season v teh Warriors because they were gone

The whole team had one of those games, I’ve seen it a million times before, don’t do anything all game and try win it with 5 minutes left and score points then. . Those three were still our best players but it was a vintage tigers performance

It came because they had come off games against Penrith and Parra and they were mentally /physically shot

Grant should of been rested ...and seeing madge couldn't see that our season is cooked

Madge has made a lot of mistakes this year and needs some help. Hiring a couple of decent assistant coaches and a halves coach wouldn't go astray.

Just like putting up bombs in wooded areas in order to be the best under a high ball .

You've only got 982 nuggets left ......will you compete for Australia or England in Tokyo

In the ten days spent in Beijing former Olympian Usain Bolt ate 1000 chicken nuggets
Nuggets ate the answer to maintain peak mental and physical performance..

Just like putting up bombs in wooded areas in order to be the best under a high ball .

Also you eat those crappy Maccas nuggets to save 5c you cheapskate get the 100% breast fillet nuggets from that chicken mob ...KFC I think it is

I’ve been printing my own

they aren't acid tabs ,,,they are nuggets lol

It is different ....must clubs now are ramping up their training loads ...madge is lightening up the load now

Don’t see any other teams resting players. You really wanted to go into a game with no hooker?

Yeah we needed enthusiasm and zip that week

Would have gone in with Reynolds ....if Packer wasn't suspened would have rested either Aloiai or Lucy

I’ll tell you one thing, resting our best players would’ve made that game a whole lot worse... then you would’ve been screaming at Madge for ‘bad team selections’ costing us the game ?

No I wouldn't have ...because I started a thread saying we should rest Grant and Lucy or Grant and Aloiai for that game

This is my point ..if some nuffy like me can see they were toast why didn't Madge

Again, what other teams are resting players? It might sound like a good idea to you, but not to any actual NRL coach, and I don’t see how having Reynolds at hooker and one of our dud forwards on the bench would’ve helped at all.

It was such an important game and the players didn’t rock up. Imagine the huge backlash there would’ve been if we played that game without one of our best players for no reason.
