Duel Badgers..

That fact she would be on our game because it doesn't have an impact on the finals would be more to do with it being her first game rather than the fact she is a women. Anyone you debuts in round 26 isn't going to be given a game that could decide a teams fate it's a big step up

A womAn - why do people always have trouble writing and saying the word woman? Happens a lot and I have no idea why. We have no trouble saying man or men in the right context, but seem to be put off by the 'wo' for some reason. Not having a go at you, Chicken Faced Killa, it's just something I see more people do than not and I find it strange.

"The game has no bearing on the finals race".

Because we wouldn't want a woman in charge of a game that was. Just shows that it has nothing to do with giving a woman a game because she's earned it, rather just because she's a woman.

Yep 100%.
There are probably blokes reffing lower grades doing an outstanding job but they don't get the attention because they are just another guy in the line.
The fact they are saying either Sleeman or Badger shows they just want to pick a woman. I can't comment on either of their ability as a main ref, but from what I've seen in first grade neither stand out as great touchies. And as has already been said, Sleeman has one of the worst sideline calls the game has ever seen attached to her name.

**Why not let both the women, ref a game each.** :bulb:
Storm v- raiders, Storm cannot finish anywhere but first, if raiders are good enough to win they will.
Wests-tigers v warriors, a battle of the teams who pluck defeat from the jaws of victory..

…Not to mention the title says "Duel" rather than "Dual"... are they going to sort their domestic issues at ten paces during an NRL game?!

Because that would be pandering.
If they have earned it they will be given a go. It shouldnt just be handed out because of gender.
